Nice little local coffee shop. The coffee was good but the food was the real highlight for me. I had the quiche, which I would highly recommend! Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!

Went here shortly after opening where we had the fresh and first pick of the scrumptious pastries offered. Ordered some with our large breve lattes and we were poised to have an adventurous day. Fast and friendly service to boot!

Excellent coffee food and service

Excellent coffee and tasty baked goods with friendly and helpful service. They have a La Morzocco espresso machine, which are the best in the world! They offer alternative milk options, too, including oat, almond, coconut and macadamia. You can also order a mocha latte with either dark or white chocolate, which is nice and unique. Their breakfast tacos are quite small and average tasting. Their chocolate croissant is average size but very tasty. Loses a star because I noticed some flies in the baked goods case and, like most places, they prompt you with a guilt-tipping screen upon payment.

So glad we found this place! I had the maple ham & cheese croissant with a dark chocolate iced latte. Absolutely heavenly! The staff were so friendly! This will definitely be a stop for us while traveling.

I don’t know why it’s 4.5, on my opinion it has to be 5. Tasty coffee, delicious avocado toast, tasty hot chocolate for kids. Very beautiful inside, great staff. Everything was 5 out of 5! Thank you

Great place to stop for a treat!!

I recently visited the Perla Baking Co. at 766 Baldwin Ave, in Defuniak Springs, FL. I went inside and noticed how nice the interior was. I went to the counter and was met and my drink order was taken as I looked over the baked goods I had to chose from, a tough decision. I chose a scone and took it to my table and enjoyed my light meal. A must go to place.

Friendly informed service. Fresh roasted coffee from own roasters, Amavida. Superb baked goods, scones were oven fresh, everything was so good we had to order quick breads and coffee beans to go. Will always go out of our way to pass through DeFuniack Springs and stop here
