Rad Dad's - It's Not Just Pizza

Food is below average and overpriced, takeout order was ready 45 minutes after they told me it would be over the phone. Some lady working there had an attitude when picking up the food. The “restaurant” looks like an old house that needs some major renovations. I’d recommend eating across the rd at simply good bbq if you’re looking for food in the area. Much better service, better food, and friendlier staff.

My hat's off to the gal who took our counter order, made the sandwiches and waited on the tables singlehandedly. We ordered subs, fries and onion rings. Onion rings were great, The sub's contents were plentiful and fresh
- my only suggestion is to get some fresh, crunchy bread to compliment the ingredients.

I'll start off by saying this wasn't a BAD experience per se, but the food is school cafeteria quality at best. The pizza, while pretty looking, was definitely lacking texture wise. The crust is chewy as others have commented here and just an odd texture. The sauce was also very bitter. I tried the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mac&cheese. Meatloaf was decent, nothing crazy good about it, the potatoes were homemade had some lumps in them which I enjoy. I was upcharged for the mac&cheese, so I was assuming it was homemade, but I'm 90% sure it's just boxed mac, you don't get that neon yellow in homemade mac 😅. The prices were very fair, for 2 personal pizzas and the meatloaf dinner it was about $30. So if you just want a cheap hot meal with no frills, give this place a shot. But for me I'd like to spend my money on something with a bit more substance.

Rad dads may not look like much from the outside, but it's food and people really do make it something special. This is one of those. Don't judge a book by its cover restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly when ordering food and even offered substitutions for the children. It wasn't extremely busy and we were seated right away. The restaurant also has fun books and games to keep the children busy along with the adults. And food comes out quickly. Piping hot and fresh. Even though the pizza is to die for try other things on the menu, you won't regret it!

I wanted to support a local small business, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I paid $16 for their beef tip special, which consisted of five small pieces of beef tips, green beans with no seasoning, and boiled bag rice. On top of that, they began mopping the floor next to me while I was eating, leaving the smell of dirty mop water lingering in the air two hours before their closing hours. Neither the young man mopping nor the woman behind the register offered an apology or explanation. As the only customer in the restaurant, it felt as though they didn’t care about my experience, especially with all the chairs already stacked up except for the table I was seated at. The unpleasant smell made it hard to enjoy my meal. I was hoping for a nice experience and left feeling disappointed.

Worth the stop on the way to the beach.

Only place within miles of anything good to eat.
New menu must have it all.
Get the meatster pizza, get the country fried steak or chicken get the chicken pot pie!

Nice clean place friendly staff. Tried 2 different sandwiches 1 was not bad but the Cuban not a fan.
