My hash browns were so hard and crispy I couldn't eat them. I would've told my server, but she was too busy mopping. I don't go for the customer service. I go for the food. I was very disappointed.

My wife and I had stop on our way home on Thanksgiving Day. The food was outstanding and the entire crew from cooks to servers were upbeat, funny, and friendly despite having to work during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Excellent Waffle House experience would recommend this location to anyone living or traveling along I-10 @ Hwy 331 near Defuniak Springs.
Stopped to eat and food was put in to go without asking if I wanted to eat there or take it with me. Not the friendliest staff. I would not had stopped and ordered if I wasn't going to be able to eat it there

Waitresses take too many smoke breaks and personal phone calls. Leaving you at your table is not getting waited unless you wave down another waitress. Don't always get everything you order. Have got burnt bacon, asked for another order not burnt, and the cook said that was the best I could get.
Parking: The spots are very small and you can only park on one side. So when you back up and it is a full house, you are almost backing into the building unless you are in a smart car or jeep.
