Great little bar with a decent selection of tap beers. Bartender was very friendly and accommodating. She had no problem telling me about the beers, giving me samples and helping me with my flight choices.

One of the best spots to grab a beer in the area! The bar is fairly dark, but has a nice charm to it, and they always have at least a couple brews on tap or in the cooler that are worth drinking! For example, my photo is of a glass of Bruery - Black Tuesday, a beer I’ve always wanted to try but have never seen on draft in FL in over a decade, but yet here it is randomly on draft at Abbey with no promotion or fanfare, and that’s fine, because it means more for me =]

The Abbey located in Deland, specializes in Craft Beer from Florida, across the US and the World. In addition to a changing menu of Beer, they have Wines, and Creative Meads. The Abbey does offer food listed in 3 categories; Lighter Fare, Quesadillas and Paninis. * Lighter Fare: - Abbey Caprese:(Sliced fresh Mozzarella & Tomato topped with Pesto Olive Oil and Balsamic); - Mediterranean Plate: (Two cheeses, olives, pepperoncini, craisins, & hummus with pita); - Pork Rind Basket; - Chips and Salsa; Pretzel ( with beer cheese or mustard); Hummus Plate with Grilled Pita; - Cowboy Candy: (Candied Jalapenos over cream cheese and served with crackers) * Quesadillas: - The Plain Jane( just cheese); - A Pizza My Heart( Pizza Sauce, Mozzarella, Pepperoni); - The Spanish Inquisition( Pork, Candied Jalapenos, Mozzarella, Onions); - Quesaclub (Chicken, Ham, Bacon, & swiss served w/ raspberry jam); - The Blair (Chicken, cheddar cheese, & salsa); * Paninis: - Bruschetta Grilled Cheese( Mozzarella, Pesto and Marinara); - Abbey Signature Grilled Cheese (A blend of Cheeses and Candied Jalapenos); Abbey Cuban (Pulled pork, ham, mustard, pickle, and swiss cheese) We didn't get any food because we had just eaten at Half Wall, and walked over to the Abbey. As far as the alcohol they have 76 craft beers ranging from Belgian, Abbey Ales, Blonde, Reds, Browns,Farmhouse & Sours, Fruit & Spice, IPA,Pale Ales Lagers, Pilsners, Porters, Stouts, Strong Ale, Wheat Beer; *12 Meads and Ciders: Meridian Hive Blueberry Lemonade, Meridian Hive Blackberry, Superstition Dune Bloom, Warhammer Sun Goddess, Warhammer Potion of Darkness, Angry Orchard Crisp Apple, Schilling Grapefruit and Chill, Original Sin Pear, Ciderboys Strawberry Magic, Cigar City Homemade Apple Pie, B. Nektar Zombie Killer, Dansk Mjod Viking Blod; * 15 Wines: Heinz Eifel Shine Dornfelder, Abbe Signature Sangria, Borsao Rose, Annabella Chardonnay, Borsao Garnacha, Zenato Pinot Grigio, Zardetto Prosecco Brut, Stella Moscato, One Stone Cabernet Sauvignon, Mad Fish Shiraz, Grayson Merlot, Ghostrunner Ungrafted Red... I actually don't remember what I got to drink lol. I was buzzed from Half Wall. I remember the bartender gave me what he though was delicious. This was quite the drive for us in Winter Garden, so I don't think it would be a place we would go a lot but we did enjoy our time there. This will definitely be a place to go when we visit our friends. Great atmosphere, good music.

The staff is always friendly. They have plenty of drinking options, from cider to mead and of course beer. They have vegetarian options. The bathrooms are clean. It's a comfortable place to hangout.

Abbey Bar is located in Deland, we recently visited with some friends who live closer to the area. This was quite the drive for us in Winter Garden, so I don't think it would be a place we would go a lot but we did enjoy our time there. This will definitely be a place to go when we visit our friends. This is what the name implies, a bar, nothing else. They have tables, seating at the bar and high-top tables. They have a few food options, mostly appetizers with a few sandwiches and quesadillas. We did not get any food since we had just eaten dinner. Apparently, their cowboy candy is the most popular item, its candied jalapenos over cream cheese with crackers. Maybe next time. They do sell bottle beer; it is really what most of the alcohol consists of. They do have their menu divided into categories so if you know what you are looking for it helps. They also have draft beer which rotates throughout the year, so there might be something new on the menu. I personally am not a huge fan of specialty beer like sours, and porters, but my husband is so he really enjoyed looking through the different options. I honestly cannot remember the two beer my husband tried but I know one had a really high ABV and the other one was really sour. He seemed to enjoy both, so I guess that's good. I choose to get a glass of wine instead. They have only a few wine options but also have mead. I have never had it before, but our friends were very much fans of it. The wine selection is small, but I just went with a Moscato. All in all, this is a fine bar if you are in the area. I would say if you were not a beer fan this might not be for you. They do not make any liquor style drinks only beer and wine. All in all, not bad, we would for sure go back when visiting friends in the area.

There is a plethora of craft beer. Wine as well. The pub-grub needs help. Different from when Art owned it. But it is what it is...Parking: Park in the back so the police can't see how long you have been there

We stopped here on our way to Ocala. Nice vibe, I was disappointed that there were no Belgians on draft when I visited. Would still go back next time We go to Ocala.

Quaint pub with multiple craft beverages on tap and a wide selection of bottled imports. I am particularly fond of the Belgian beer. The menu is limited so there aren't many choices but the food is tasty. I gave 4 stars on food only because of the limited selection. They do have items to nibble on while enjoying your beverage. I especially enjoy the " cowboy candy" which is cream cheese with a sweetened sliced jalapeño covereing. I highly recommend this establishment.

Very great atmosphere for a bar and they have trivia every Tuesday! The drink variety is cool with many new and local drinks. Service is also always super.

Kind of a dive bar vibeWe came in to grab a beer and weren’t particularly impressed. It wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t have anything that seemed to make it better than other drinking establishments in Deland. Our server was friendly. She had a good grasp of their draft list, but it was merely ok in my book.
