My husband and I stopped into the Bake Chop for the first time today for lunch and we really enjoyed our food. I had the Boulevard (grilled chicken balsamic glaze sandwich) omg! 🤤 absolutely delicious. My hubby had a burger no bun with lettuce and he enjoyed every bit of it too. Definitely recommend this place and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Hunter our waiter was very personable and really helpful. Get the garlic aioli!!!

we had lunch there on a busy Saturday but they were handling the whole thing well. we got the privilege of sitting by the kitchen and watching them work and it was a blast. the food was absolutely amazing and the service was friendly. I loved that I could get any of the options with a portobello mushroom instead of meat. we will definitely be back!

I stumbled upon BakeChop by accident while visiting DeLand for a couple of days. I was originally planning to grab a bite from a taco stand nearby, but they were closed. Luckily, I wandered across the street to BakeChop because I noticed a lot of people coming in and out—and wow, what a great decision that turned out to be!
From the moment I walked in, the host welcomed me with such a friendly and energetic vibe. Everyone working there seemed genuinely happy to be there, and they were super polite and warm, which immediately set a great vibe.
I ordered the Poke Noodle Bowl, and it was absolutely delicious! I have these types of bowls all the time, but this one truly stood out. The flavors were so bold and fresh, and I found myself wanting to go back and have it for dinner too. It was such a pleasant surprise!
Overall, I’m so glad I ended up at BakeChop. Great food, awesome service, and an overall fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Cute restaurant in Deland! Several gluten free options, which was why we tried this place out. It was so good, we ate here two nights in a row! The gluten free oatmeal cream pies are AMAZING. Service was also great!

Hands down FAVORITE new spot! From the extremely friendly & accommodating service to the Incredible choices on the Menu...the only disappointment was we couldn't return the next day for the Maple blueberry burger and Who's Wanda as they are closed on Sundays. The atmosphere is cozy and a mix of Industrial, Vintage, and Hipster. We took forever to decide and and our waiter was very patient, offering samples to help us decide. We finally choose the soup of the day...forgot the name, which was unique, refreshing and a perfect starter, the Scallop Rangoon's, which is now my favorite dish ever with a crispy outside and warm gooey pimento cheese inside, the portabella mushroom burger, which was perfect all around, the beets and goat cheese went together so well, another new favorite, and the poke noodle bowl which my Son pretty much licked the bowl! We loved that they had my favorite New Orleans craft brew Abita, so I had to have a Purple Haze, but also discovered a new brew, forgot the name, but it paired perfectly with our diverse choices in the meal. I normally don't do desert, but I couldn't resist the Sopapilla cheesecake that was as good, if not better than it sounded! They explained they had a new Menu, so if you haven't been in a while, it's time to come back! We can't wait to get back for the rest!

The fishbowl says it comes with swordfish & is priced at $27, which I've received & loved. Twice they called to say they were out of fish & substituted with something else (chicken, etc.), no price change. The last 3 times, it's come with burnt salmon, no phone call, no explanation. Just called ahead of time to check what I'd be surprised with, and the person who answered the phone was snotty & rude, which has NEVER happened before. Rudeness in addition to paying $27 for small, burnt salmon is too much. I love this place, so I'm just giving 3 stars & hoping they see this ??
