Great cafe, tucked inside a courtyard. Worth the uncertainty of how to get in. Food selection more than I expected. The food quality was excellent and servings substantial. Self service drinks, food on plastic plates/ trays and picked up when your order called. Clean and casual. The other nearby stores gave the cafe an airy, artsy feel. Check it out!

I used to frequent this business years ago when it was Cook's Cafe. I recently visited DeLand after being aware for a rather long time and I was happy to see Connie's had taken it over. The food was still great! I will be back again the next time I'm in the area!

Called ahead (12pm) to see if they had the pulled pork tater wrap and was told yes. Drove there 10 minutes later and when I got there was told they were all out. Said they ran out that morning. You really sold that to someone for breakfast? I called ahead and specifically asked because they have been out for at least the last 6 months.

To be honest the entire experience was mediocre at best. The staff was unpleasant and rude. The food was lack luster and disappointing.It was a great cup of velvet chicken soup or whatever. I will say that.
