Daisy’s Diner at 915 N. Spring Garden Ave. in DeLand shut down on Aug. 20. Inspectors found 15 violations, four of which were a high priority. Those violations included roach activity, roach excrement, food held at the wrong temperatures and a sanitizer with the wrong concentration. Officials conducted another inspection on Aug. 21. Officials found five violations but none were a high priority. The restaurant met inspection standards.

This is probably the most basic breakfast place I've ever been to, which isn't a bad thing. The food was tasty, but didn't wow me. The decor was homey. Service was good. Overall, a very medium experience.

ZERO STARS!!!! By far one of the most awful experiences that I've ever had at a restaurant. The cook blotted my husbands eggs with a USED wash cloth that was used for cleaning. My food was not even warm, ate a couple bites, payed the bill and left. We will never go back. The environment is gross. The silverware was dirty. The coffee was not even warm. The place smells like old unwashed dish towels. And dirty mop water. I DON'T know how places like that are even open!!! The heath department needs to check this one out!!!!!! ?

Best biscuits and gravy & egg over medium was perfection annd the Daisy omelet was awesome as well. Food actually had flavor! Hats off to the cook!

Disinterested waitress, ice in the ice-tea just on request, no refill offered, sticky tables. No need to come back here.

This is a perfect breakfast diner! The menu has lots of options for everyone. The coffee is pretty good too! We got the biscuits and gravy and the two egg breakfast.
Vegetarian options: The breakfast has several no meat options, veggie omelette, and build your own wraps and sandwiches. I did not look at the lunch menu, but breakfast is served all day.
Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall that is mostly medical businesses. There is plenty of parking.
Kid-friendliness: They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has umbrellas.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps on either side of the restaurant.

My 82 year old motherWent here to eat and was charged on her credit card 2 times for her meal,Called and got it straightened out,the girl said she didn't know what happened..my mom gave themA second chance and the same thing happened again,..She will never eat there again and I suggest if you do eat there,check your credit card..Because if they will Rip off a 82 year old lady,they will Rip anyone off...BEWARE.. and by the way to the owner these are not accusations these are facts . Even called the bank for the credit card it was still on there a week later . So you can b******* everybody you want to but these are facts we would never set foot in your restaurant ever again you're full of excuses I read all the other reviews you have really bad reviews everywhere you are a horrible owner you should go out of business and I hope you do just to save the community . and that is not a double charge like the owner is saying my mother had to call her bank to get both of them taken off and resolved the restaurant double charged them. Don't believe anything they say just don't go there that's how you fix it

Food was wrong and missing items but couldn’t get the server to come back. She just dropped off the check and ignored us. I haven’t had French fries baked in an oven since my mommy made them for me. Don’t waste your time eating here.
