My son and I came to eat breakfast here on a whim.I had the Crab Benny. Can't remember what my son had b/c my head was in the CLOUDS!! They could have told me to sit on a stump outside to finish eating. I WOULD have! I live near to twisted biscuit diner in Tavares.Have eaten there often. THE biscuit at Deland Eatery!! I actually went to the restaurant to eat. It was fabulous! The food was excellent along with the great service as well as the presentation. We were asked several times of we enjoyed our food. I highly recommend it.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really wanted to like this place. I think the only way it has the ratings it does is because of the bar and restaurant which apparently aren't the same owner as the hotel. The hotel was dirty, bug infested and loud. We actually found old dried dog feces in the corner of a King suite we were in. Upon further inspection we found a large pile of dead bugs, and fresh melted candle wax too. The sink would hardly drain and would take over 5 minutes to get hot.
