Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Stetson Mansion. I had the Plain Jane grilled cheese and three bean salad. Both were delicious and plentiful. Hubby had the Cuban sandwich and bean salad. We particularly enjoyed the bean salad. It was very different than any other three bean salad we've had before. It had a mild seasoning that allowed the flavors of the beans to come through. The staff was short handed, but they made up for it working as a team and being so pleasant. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the interior design makes it look like they don't have seating. There is a structure in the middle if the restaurant that blocks views.

Very cozy friendly neighborhood restaurant. They advertise breakfast and lunch on this visit we had breakfast which was a very limited menu. They do try to satisfy but pass breakfast. Another visit we had lunch, I had a Ruben sandwich my partner a salad, both were very good,still the menu is limited, but worth the visit .

Nice place, friendly staff and fast service. Caesar dressing was a little too fishy for my taste, but other than that, chicken Caesar wrap was good and price wasn't bad either.

Went here with my wife on a Monday morning and had a smoothie & a great breakfast croissant and had a perfect pleasant experience with a kind smile and friendly and wonderful customer service. We felt at home here and it was a perfect start to our day in DeLand, will definitely be coming back here.

We had breakfast here one morning, and although it was good, it was a little awkward. There is limited seating inside, but we were fortunate enough to get a table. There was no menu for breakfast, as they have only one item on the menu: an egg and cheese sandwich with spinach and bacon, that can be served on bagel, croissant, or toast. Cost was $5.99, I believe. Just one or two employees running the whole operation, including the takeout service and the table service. Service was a little slow, which was strange considering that with only one item on the menu, you’d think the food would come out very quickly. Not the greatest breakfast experience, but certainly adequate, particularly given a very reasonable price. They also offered sides of fruit for an additional cost. I believe they serve lunch as well, and they did seem to have a larger menu for lunch. So not sure if the breakfast is just an afterthought

We were in town only for the day. We didn't know what to expect when coming here. Highly recommend this diner! It was so adorably decorated. Very comfortable brick atmosphere. But besides the good service and atmosphere, the food was delicious. Probably one of the best cuban sandwiches I have ever had and I'm from South FL.
EVERYTHING is good! It's hard to make a bad choice when it comes to picking out a sandwich. The sides are fresh, and the staff couldn't be more polite and helpful! If you're in DeLand, do yourself a favor and visit for a great lunch!

The lunch we had was very good as usual. Service was relatively quick considering how short-handed they were. The only thing I didn't care for was the bowl shaped tray that the meals came on were too big for the small table we were at.
