If you like having an exceptional mouthwatering dinner in a comforting home atmosphere with a family of coworkers who work together, you can find all of that at Dobros. My husband and i have eaten here multiple times and everything worked like a well oiled machine. When ever we have out of town guest this is the place we bring them to. Dinner at Dobros is always enjoyable and delicious.

My partner and I went to Dobros for the first time, and we do recommend this place 100%…. The owner Megan was extremely nice and personable, the staff it’s amazing and the food it’s to die for….

I want to preface this review with the fact that we absolutely love Dobros pizza and are regular customers. It's amazing food. That being said we've had increasingly worse experiences with the delivery service, which we order through DoorDash. Because they leverage their own drivers you don't get the typical updates on the delivery status. This has created a few issues which we were willing to overlook due to the quality of the food. We have large dogs so we typically have the driver drop off the food at the door and tip prior to delivery. Today my wife ordered a pizza and after 2 hours we called to ask where it was. Turns out, it was delivered to the wrong address, our next door neighbor. By the time we got to the food it was covered in ants. When we called again to let them know the person we spoke with was less than amicable about the situation. She recommended next time don't have the food dropped off and this wouldn't happen. They offered to remake the pizza and my daughter went to pick it up. Again, when she went to pickup from the restaurant they were less than understanding and once again tried to shift blame to us. They recommended we get a stand in front of our house so that deliveries wouldn't be placed on the ground and be susceptible to things like insects. As it turns out we do have such a stand by our front door for this very reason, which this very restaurant has leveraged before when we've placed a delivery order and requested it be left at the door. Again, Dobros we love your food, it's one of the best if not THE best pizza places in DeLand. We understand things happen but this mistake was not on us and we felt the situation wasn't handled correctly. We'll be taking a break from this restaurant for a while.

So disgusted with the customer service we just received trying to place a takeout order. During the first call we were hung up on before even getting past a “can I please place a takeout order” and the second time we called we asked for a “half cheese, half pepperoni and pineapple pizza” and the lady on the phone screamed “YOU DONT HAVE TO ASK FOR HALF CHEESE ALL PIZZAS COME WITH CHEESE” and then wanted to argue with us about cheese being on pizzas? Like we know this? LOL. ? I called back to speak to a manger because we were genuinely confused and the same disgruntled lady answered claiming she’s the manager and when I told her it’s insane to argue with a customer about literally nothing she started screaming again and hung up. We are throughly confused and after reading these reviews it’s no wonder they’re terrible, imagine how much business the place loses by speaking to customers so nasty.. I’ve worked in a restaurant for 10 years and could never imagine treating customers this way. What a shame! Life is short, it costs nothing to be kind. And remember paying customers = job security but I guess hanging up on them is acceptable. Yuck!
Parking is very limited. Seating is limited. We waited 45 minutes for our two pizzas. We had to finally ask about them because nobody kept us informed . I saw that they have a significant carry out and delivery service going on but wouldn’t you give people sitting in your restaurant priority ? Still don’t understand why a couple that came in 20 minutes after we did got their pizza before us !?! My wife ordered a pizza without olives and they were on there. My Chicago style 12 inch tasted good but had a very hard crust.
