Enjoyed our lunch visit. Food was pretty good, prices were pretty good, service was great. We had a very good waitress. There wasn't as much as one would like to choose from & there were extra costs for quite a lot of things. ( To go cups, even with a drink purchase, fries are extra, etc ) Seating is very crammed together. It does have a nice, quiet little country breakfast place atmosphere though. On the service alone, we'll be going here again. We wanted for nothing, she was there whenever we needed anything. Give it a try if you haven't already.

We absolutely love Doug and Lil's potato patch. Every time we go the food is awesome and the service is consistent and great! It feels like home with a home-cooked delicious meal! I will have to say that the eggs benedict are my favorite and the breakfast potatoes are the best in town!! Also, the biscuits and gravy are delicious!!!

We stopped here while working in the area. What a mistake that was! The place was run down (and not in a charming way). My co-worker and I waited for over 15 minutes to be greeted and asked for our drink order… no acknowledgment! There were 3 other tables and 3 servers and they practically ignored us. I noticed on the menu that they only serve bottled water, so my typical order of coffee and water would be out. Wild. We decided to dip out. ✌️ Thankfully we found a place nearby called Big Rig that was AMAZING.

My husband and I stopped in this morning for breakfast and OMGEE!! It was SO good! Our server was a sweet young lady who was very attentive. We enjoyed the food so much we decided to get dinner to go since we are staying in a hotel in Daytona. The special was the Turkey and Dressing. Let me just say WOW!! We got the broccoli soup with it and that soup was AMAZING!! I am not sure who the cook was and let me just say, alot of times they do not get enough credit. Whoever she or he is, you did a phenomenal job. We appreciate the good home cooking. The folks in there dining seemed real friendly. There was a lady sitting across from us telling us how good their food is. She was definitely right. I encourage anyone wishing to get a good home cooked meal with friendly service to give this place a try. I don't think you will be sorry, we sure weren't!! Thank you for the great meals, service and smiles!! It just goes to show you, you don't have to have a big name to have HUGE FLAVORS!! And I was going to pay with a credit card and the waitress was kind enough to offer to let me take care of the bill in a different way if I didn't have it. I am almost 50 years old and NO ONE does things like this anymore. I can never recall anyone doing it at all. I give high fives and hugs to the owners for being so trusting and kind hearted. I believe God will bless you and your business mightily. Thanks for the fabulous food and the memories!!

1st, it's a diner. I love diners. I love the atmosphere, the people, the food... all if it. This diner in particular is fantastic. I had my mountain breakfast: country fried steak on hash browns, topped with a split biscuit, and two over medium eggs floating ever so gently upon the gravy blanketing the creation below... masterpiece. A few splotches of hot sauce and dig in. It was fantastic. Everyone's food was great. I stole a bit of my wife's grits, and they were so good I had them bring me a side. Coffee was hot and on the hustle. The service was friendly and fast. The food was great and served hot off the griddle. And, the atmosphere was five star diner-esc. Loved it.

Do bring cash or check, or be caught of guard like I was and left scrambling for cash to pay the bill. There is a big sign on the door stating this policy... but I walked right by it?

Thank you for a great breakfast!

This is the best place for a delicious breakfast. I had an omelet and it was huge and stuffed with good things! They were efficient and it was a pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sumptuous meal. The prices were reasonable.
