My cutlet was burnt. Had awful view of work station in the back corner.Wasn't like I remembered it. Crossing off my list. Soup and bread was wonderful.

The food is absolutely delicious! Just to note it is a very busy place. We arrived just 11 minutes after they opened and we walked in and it was already packed out. None the less everything is freshly made which is fantastic! We had a great server and did not wait too long for our food. We will definitely make this a go to spot. Oh and the portions are definitely big. The pretzels are delicious!

My first time here, Tarisa was our server she was awesome she told me what was good, and no EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I will come again. My prime rib was cooked to perfection. My potato was loaded, and my stuffed mushrooms were so favorable.....I'm happy ?

Ms. Emmy is the sweetest person you will ever meet. The food is amazing. So thankful she’s not selling. Deland would not be the same without Emmys.

We always have an outstanding meal at Emmy's. The staff are all amazing and the food so delicious and high quality. Never had a bad meal at Emmy's!!

Miss Amy herself seats the guests the servers take good care of their tables bartender always has some silly witty joke it's a great place to bring friends and family of all ages play recognize birthdays and leaving keep your ice cream cake Frozen and also sing your kids or whoever is the birthday person the Happy Birthday song all around great place to eat great place to hang out open Thursday through Sunday

Emmy's Old Time Tavern is a diamond in the rough. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is exceptional. We started with a unique salad featuring three different flavors. My main course was the Holastein Schnitzel, served with a baked potato and red cabbage, while my companion had the Veal Marsala with German Potatoes. Emmy's also has a full bar, and my Margarita was well-made. If you're craving authentic German cuisine, Emmy's is the place to go. Not to mention we meet Emmy herself. What a sweet lady, had a good time chatting with her.
