I am so excited to find this place. My family really enjoyed their prime rib dinners. I had the marinated chicken with baked potato. I was so glad to have leftovers to enjoy again later. The topper was the fresh bread served 😋

I hadn’t been to this restaurant in over 20 years when we came tonight my son and I. Our server Abby “I think her name was” was wonderful and the food was just as I remember it. Best prime rib around! And my son got a huge steak that was also delicious. Thank you for not changing anything and keeping the restaurant the same. The price was definitely more expensive than it was the last time I went but let’s face it that’s anywhere you go. I’m willing to pay the money if the food is good and the service is good which both were

We started with warm bread - delicious. Then we both had vegetable soup - fantastic. Then came the Ziwiebel Onion - better than Outback’s. We barely had room for the prime rib and baked potato entrees. Needless to say, I can’t wait for lunch leftovers today and probably a prime rib sandwich tomorrow! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Our first time in this gem, it was a great home-like cozy atmosphere. I felt like I was at somebody’s granny’s house and I had to finish everything on my plate.
The pretzel was absolutely the best we’ve ever had. We also had Veal Jager Schnitzel entree and it was cooked to perfection. The prime rib soup was also very delicious. Statf was very friendly and welcoming. Joanne was our server and she was very attentive.

Very cute place, food was good. Was very excited to have Sauerbraten, however i wouldn't recommend that choice ( not a lot of flavor). Jager Schnitzel was very good! And prime rib vegetable soup, really good!

In the last few months the service and quality of food has gone down hill. Last Friday I had the Rham Snitchel that all I could taste was oil. There was no flavor in the gravy and mushrooms tasted like they were bad, I did not eat them. The steaks the rest of the party had were great. This is a german restaurant so German food should be on point. Service was sub par, 15 min to get drinks and after 20 min waiting to get order taken it was 45 min to get food. It was not busy at all. 6 months ago it you were not at door at 4:45 you waited to get a table. When you were seated drinks and food were on point and fast. It was always very good, hot and on the table fast. I hate that since miss Emmy past it is going down hill.

We’ve been going to Emmy’s for many years. Unfortunately our last two visits were not what we’ve come to expect from Emmy’s. This visit I ordered pan seared Grouper. It was mostly breading with maybe an 1/8 inch thick piece of grouper that was dry and overcooked. The prime rib my husband had was very good but not the normal generous portion for $32. We brought the issue to the servers attention and she offered another dinner which I declined as it took over an hour to receive this meal. When she came back asking if we wanted dessert my husband said I would like a manager to look at her fish. She took the plate and came back and said we are taking the fish off your bill and you should have said something sooner! I did say something sooner and you chose not to advise management of a substandard meal. I would have happily paid for my meal. I wasn’t a patron looking for a free meal I genuinely wanted them to recognize the quality of the food we experienced. The manager (Emmy’s son) came over to the checkout and I tried to explain the issue and he kept repeating I’m not charging you then had the gall to say well you ate the fish. I wish I had taken a picture of the plate. They need to learn customer service and just apologize and recognize they screwed up. The fish was terrible, paper thin and way overcooked. Unfortunately, we won’t be back. We miss Emmy!

Always good food & good value for your dollar. Be sure to save room for dessert!

For decades, I have heard Emmy‘s has the best prime rib in central Florida. I can finally say I agree! I gave the atmosphere a four star rating because it was extremely warm when we were there. I think they are still using the original air conditioning unit from the 1980’s. They don’t open until 5 PM but you better get there before 5 PM because at 5:05 it is full!

Delmonica is usually amazing. But this time it was pretty tough even though it was cooked correctly. Must have been an old cow this time. Normally it's exceptional. The fillet however was amazing

When you think of a place being a hidden gem... that's Emmy's. You enter and it's just like visiting an older relative.... cozy homey feel. It's fine dining without the stuffy atmosphere. The quality of food is outstanding. The staff were all attentive and friendly.... it's just an amazing find. We'll definitely be back!

22June2025: We had a wonderful dinner at Emmy's. We've been coming here for years and I never tried the fish. So I ordered the pan fried Haddock which was absolutely delicious. My wife orders that or shrimp and nowcI know why. The haddock was done to perfection with a slight crisp on the outside. It was so good I didn't add anything else except lemon! Of course the soup, cucumber salad, German potatoes and Warsteiner made for a perfect meal.
I absolutely recommend Emmy's for the great food, good service and pleasant atmosphere. It is always a wonderful experience. And the staff all make you feel right at home.

Went to Emmy's for All American Monday and it was great! The half pound cheesburger with fresh toppings and french fries was excellent. The pastrami on rye was very lean, juicy and great taste. The haddock was large and done properly being fried moist and flakey. The sweet potatoe frys were done to perfection and great dipped in the biercheese. We had tasty pretzel bites with excellent biercheese as an appitizer. And of course, the Warsteiner was cold, smooth and tasty.

I highly recommend Emmy's Time Out Tavern for any meal or occasion.
