Service was awesome! And the food was really good. What a nice place to relax! If I could critique one thing it would be the patio. They have heaters and they're all banged up and kind of an eye sore. A lot of them don't work. It's unfortunate to watch employees struggle with the finicky ones especially when it's busy and they're trying their best to provide excellent service. Such a cute spot but it's time to invest in some new patio propane heaters.
I went two nights in a row and sat on the patio both nights. Gracie was fantastic. Angela was fantastic. The food was really good. The wine was fantastic and the beer selections acceptable However, the outdoor heaters are junk. Angela is a miracle worker that she was even able to get the thing lit. But they are unsightly and most are broken and bent up. This needs to be improved.

I went with a friend to have wine and food, asked for the bill to be split between me and my friend. We split the bill, and my friend paid the tip. Later on, I discovered after checking my online credit card statements at home, that the waitress had overcharged me $10 more without my consent. I signed the receipt thinking I was paying the correct amount than what the waitress charged. Who knows how many people they've secretly overcharged like this and no one is aware of it. This is illegal.

Great atmosphere, food, and service. The open mic on Sunday from 4 to 6pm hosted by Patty has some of the most talented musicians in the area. Come out for the food stay for the music.

The food at the City Wine and Cigar is always wonderful. I'm particularly found of their amazing selection of appetizers such as the Shrimp Cocktail, the City Dip Sampler, and Caprese Bruschetta. They have a the have a great selection of fresh salads, pizza, Italian entrees, and sandwiches. They have a great selection of wines, liquors, and beer. The bartenders make an amazing selection of delicious, hand mixed cocktails.
Great food, amazing energy, and a staff that makes you feel like a welcomed part of their crew. Bring your appetite and your sense of humor!

Love this place! Service, food and atmosphere are the perfect complement to the neighborhood location they are located. One comment, do not like the glasses you use to serve wine. They are more like a water or cocktail type glass. Additionally, when your servers uses this type of glass to serve a drink, they sometimes have to hold the glass around the middle and/or rim part. A NO NO in proper serving (who wants to see a servers fingerprints on their wine glass?). Thank you for opening here!

Owner Pete/frank and supervisor Rachel are some scammers, they cut down on all meals and steal from their employees š
Consistency is the key. They do it well.
Itās always is a pleasure to return days and weeks in a row. Service is excellent and enjoyable. Food is delicious. Staff is attentive.

They need to update their hours online. Twice now we have gone there an HOUR before they close and they tell us their kitchen is already closed but the bar is open. This most recent time I even called in advance and asked what time the kitchen closes. Online says they close at 9, the girl on the phone first said kitchen closes at 8 then I asked if sheād go verify. She came back and said āit actually closes at 8:30ā we got there at 7:40 and they told us that the kitchen closed at 7:30. Absolutely ridiculous no one seems to know whatās going on and they are losing customers by turning them away. Why is the kitchen closing an hour 1/2 before the restaurant closes anyway? Donāt waste your time!

Yesterday we went to City Wine and Cigar for the first time. We had been to this space when it was The Grapevine under different ownership, and the transformation is impressive. The new owners have really taken things to the next level. The wine list has expanded and is now more thoughtful, aiming at an affordable price point rather than relying mostly on keg wine like before. They also purchased the pizza place next door, which means the food options are much better.
The inside has been remodeled with a wood accent wall, a full bar, and rows of bottles hanging neatly behind it, which look great. Wines and beers on tap are clearly posted. Thereās also a large walk-in humidor. I donāt get cigars but to each his own I guess. I donāt really see cigars pairing with wine at all. This is probably why it took us this long to visit. We chose to sit outside under an umbrella table, and thankfully there wasnāt any smoke from cigars or cigarettes while we were there. The crowd skewed a bit older, and I suspect many were from the nearby Victoria Gardens development.
Service was warm and genuine. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, though there was a clear lack of wine training. She didnāt present the bottle, offer a small taste to check for faults, or even wipe the rim after pouring. Instead, she immediately filled our glasses so high that swirling was nearly impossible. These are small but important rituals that set a wine bar apart from just a neighborhood spot. If you order a bottle you will need to ask for a sample and ask to pour your own wine.
We ordered the Mediterranean plate to go with our bottle of Alanera Rosso Veronese. The wine was soft and approachable, with ripe dark fruit, a touch of spice, and smooth tannins and easy to enjoy on a warm evening. The plate came with hummus, olive tapenade, tzatziki, naan, and cucumber slices. Everything was delicious, though Iād suggest adding more cucumbers or even sliced carrots since we ran out of āvehiclesā to scoop with.
There was live music outside that added a fun energy. They post a schedule, and Iād definitely recommend going when they have music and sitting outdoors if the weather allows.
As a neighborhood bar, this place is fantastic 5 stars. As a true wine bar, it still has some growing to do: 3 stars. Overall, though, we had a great time and will be back, especially for the live music and the improved wine and food selection as long as there is no smoking.

This a great cigar bar but excellent for non-smokers as well. The drinks are excellent and although we didnāt eat there we plan to on our upcoming anniversary. Top notch. Highly recommended for a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable evening.

I stopped into City Wine & Cigar for lunch on my birthday, and it turned into one of the kindest experiences Iāve ever had at a restaurant.
When the day manager, Carrie, asked what brought me into town, I casually mentioned it was my birthday. We chatted about the live music, and I told her Iād return that night for the music, tiramisu, and a drink to wrap up my day.
Fast forward to that night. When I went to pay, I heard clapping and singing. The staff came out with tiramisu topped with a candle, wishing me a happy birthday.
I had only told Carrie that it was my birthday and she wasn't working that night. I found out that she had shared it with the night staff so they could surprise me.
I was stunned in the best possible way. It was such a thoughtful, heartwarming gesture that truly made my day.
Thank you so much, Carrie, and the entire City Wine & Cigar team. Iāll absolutely be stopping in again whenever Iām in town!
