Great food and selection. Flavor was plentiful and clean environment. Would recommend to anyone.

I have visited this place 3 times,Most of the food is good. BUT SOME FOOD, shrimp is always overcooked. The steak is so tough that you might lose a tooth eating it. Here is the good very clean place. Waiters work hard. People seem to be happy. This place draws people.

Food options were great and the prices were fair. However, for a family of six at an all you can eat buffet, not one of us were able to finish even ONE plate of food!! After $100 and less than a plate of food later, each of us left with a bloated stomach from all the msg. It was PAINFUL!! It was disappointing to not be able to enjoy our food.

Worst Chinese food we have had. Just moved to Deland so will be searching for a different, GOOD, Chinese restaurant. I have never had Chicken Fried Rice with YELLOW rice (maybe it's a FL thing). Even with that the dish had no flavor. Husband's "Hunan" beef was bland no 'hunan' which means spicy, but no flavor. Ordered Large and got small orders for $25. It would be helpful if owners/staff spoke English so they would know what you were orderingDidn't get a chance to eat. I walked out. The guy onsite walked out of the restroom, to the cash register (I paid in cash) to the serving area without washing his hands. Food borne illness is a no no for me. Wash your hands prior to food prep. Disgusting!!!Never never never going back to this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beyond atrocious. I've heard good things about this spot so I decided to give it a chance (despite hearing plenty of horror stories from previous iterations of restaurants that occupied the building). The building is old, run down and sad. The atmosphere and decor feel like something out of a weird funky dream. The food was, without a doubt, some of the worst Asian food I've ever had. The pepper beef was slimy and gross. The teriyaki/orange chicken was also slimy and tasted as if it had been sitting for at least a few hours. Not even my personal favorite, the dim sum, could save this meal. Good luck eating any ice cream without getting sick, the scooper is likely cross-contaminated as it just rotates from ice cream flavor to a little bucket of water to "sterilize" it. And good luck trying to complain to the staff team, barely anyone I talked to spoke English. Spent $13 on a horrid buffet and all I got was a lousy fortune cookie. I rarely give low ratings. I don't like to give low ratings. But this is an all time low. Avoid if possible.

I was disappointed at how much they charged for two people. When the food looked old. Some food choices looked as if they had been sitting out for hours. And the floor was filthy. I couldn't wait to leave because of the dirty floor, pretty much spoiled my appetite.

The food was plentiful and the buffet was clean. Price for lunch was worth it. The grill food is wonderful.

It 's actually called Sukura Buffet now with a different owner & management team. It's MUCH BETTER than Hibachi was. Weekdays are best. Food trays are continually being refilled because although the restaurant is semi-crowded, it's not so much so that the cooking staff can't effectively keep up with it. Weekends, although they do a decent job, they have a bit more trouble with keeping up with the amount of food being consumed so quickly. But, it's still a very good place to eat. Friendly and attentive owner and staff and very clean, well kept serving and eating areas.

We went in for monday evening for dinner. We were seated right away.I loved all the different options that were available!! Most of the food was hot and good. The sushi was great and I loved the variety.I will say it's difficult to rate service at a buffet. It took a bit to get our drinks, but the waiter was on top of it afterwards.There was enough "American" food options that even young, picky kids would find food here.Would, and probably will, go back!

There's before this year, and after. Ignore the pre-2022 reviews. The new management (owners?) have breathed new life into an old concept, and the transformation has been miraculous.The atmosphere is clean, brilliantly lit and customer-friendly. Even the bathrooms have gotten a makeover. The food is fresh and hot; the menu delicious and extensive.I have eaten there twice (once for dinner and once for lunch), and both times found it as good as it gets. Give it a try and you will rate it a five too. But I must warn you, it's addictive.Don't forget to leave a tip. The staff is on the ball and they work hard to please the patrons.

Very nice place! I'm so happy they finally got a new buffet here in DeLand again after the 2020 pandemic closed them all down. Great choice of food, friendly service and the set up is very nice ?

Vegetarian options: PLENTY of veggie dishes available!

Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats available upon request. Lots of good choices for little ones.

Parking: Very big parking lot with many handicap spaces.

Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are easily accessible for wheelchairs with accessible tables as well. Plenty of room between the food tables to navigate around.

Food was tasty,but a lot of it was lukewarm or cold.Some of the fried foods had a huge pile on the warming tray and there was no way to keep all of it hot or even warm. We told the manager, may go back one time to see if anything changes. Cold fried foods are not very good.

Get there early (before 5pm) and all the food trays are fresh and fully stocked... our visit today was great.
