Atmosphere was 10/10, such a cool location in downtown Deland and the staff is always very friendly! The restaurant was clean and they brought my order out in less than ten minutes, definitely will return!

Service is usually freaky slow even when there are two customers in the store. This is not the Jimmy John’s I grew up with in college (fast friendly service and accurate orders). I swear every time we come to this store, they get our order wrong. Ask for a giant sub? You get an original. Double checking that the #8 comes with mustard? They forget to put it on. Either your employees don’t know the menu or your menu board is misleading and doesn’t list all the ingredients. Cmon Jimmy John’s. Do better.

First time at this location and now it's my last time at this location. Got my sub made and used the chip reader for my payment. I choose not to leave a tip. To my surprise I now also had to sign a printed receipt and again claim no tip with signature. Why the extra paperwork when other locations don't do this? If feel this extra step is predatory toward tipping.When the employee saw I signed without a tip her attitude changed to cold and unfriendly. Apparently the view has changed to being entitled to a tip at this location.I was going to eat there but she made me feel very uncomfortable so I left.I'll never be back. As a retired vet I'll be sure to let all my friends and comrades know to avoid this place when they are in town.No second chances after that experience. This location lost my business for good.

Oh jimmy johns, at woodland as being the first time being at your restaurant, and from Miami, let me say the service here at this location was terrible, April had such a distaste attitude towards me, while I was being polite and asking questions, allow me if I am wrong but if I am new to your location the service should be friendly not annoyed I’ve never been here why the attitude April ? It’s because I am different? Overall the food is good, my sandwich didn’t even get cut. I thought it did. Not friendly staff at the time 10-1130am. Thanks for my first experience at jimmy johns food was good staff was not. I can’t phantom why they would franchise to someone with such an
unpleasant attitude.

Food cost 10 dollars I paid with my cash app card and it took 20 dollars from my card. Card the manager about the mishap and she said it was nothing she could do. No way will I leave a 10 dollar to for a 10 dollar meal. I think they should make it
