Was pretty crazy to pay $15 for a regular sandwich, the pastrami was VERY fatty. There should be some actual meat in there I literally paid to eat a glob of fat sandwich on rye. Definitely over hyped and overpriced. The service is pretty trash too. Not worth the inconvenience of down town either. Sorry.

Good deli spot, but only open 11-2 Tue-Sat so that's your window.. Fresh Bread from NY and it's part of what makes the subs great. Subs start at $15 and $20+ for full and breads are $6. Get 90% cooked bread and finished fresh at home, it's how they make those subs

Never thought I would pay 14 dollars for a half a sub but it was worth every penny. The bread is so fresh and delicious, even the lettuce and tomato tasted better than normal, not sure there secret. Great size you can definitely split a half one. Ready to go back.

I am 61 years old and this is the best, the absolute best Philly cheese steak I have ever had in my entire life! Atmosphere is awesome and the help was fantastic. Worth it at any price and any wait time. I would eat there every single day if I could.. And, because they're closed on Sundays I would buy an extra one on Saturday. DELICIOUS -I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY ALL THE OTHER SANDWICH CHOICES. Even better, my son paid for lunch!

As I write this I want a sandwich. Their subs are just that good. I have ordered the Italian with Hots for YEARS now and still it’s the best thing ever. Family owned and run. Local flare for days!!! You cannot get something like it anywhere else. DeLand is made up of these types of businesses and it’s deliciously worth a trip to check it out!!!
Wow, what a great little place right on the corner. The sandwich was huge lol. We split it between 3 people and the price was not bad at all. Will definitely come back again.

Went to this place for the first time today. Menu seemed promising and the staff was nice. I ordered the Chicken Manzano for take-out. It seemed pretty good at first until a few bites in I nearly broke a tooth biting into my sandwich, to my disgust I pulled out a significantly sized chicken bone from the bite I took (picture attached). Did myself a favor and threw the rest away as I wasn’t willing to risk more. Disappointing.

The best sandwich I’ve ever had. Iam SO glad this place is 30 minutes away from me because I’d probably be there every day. There can be a pretty long wait but it’s worth every minute. I get the Italian and I can’t get enough. Anytime I’m in deland I have to drop by.
