Oudom Thai and Sushi offers an exceptional dining experience, serving the best Thai and sushi in the area. The ahi tuna is fresh and beautifully presented, while the peanut sauce is tantalizing and the vegetables are cooked to perfection. The restaurant features a great variety of Thai dishes, and the Pad Thai is phenomenal, with plenty of meat and delicious flavors. The Tom Yum soup and Tom Kah Gai have received praise for their great flavor. The Chicken Satay makes for a great appetizer that many diners wish they had ordered more of.
The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, with a family-run feel that makes diners feel truly welcomed. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and attentive, ensuring drinks are never empty and happily answering questions. Many guests feel the staff is like family. The authentic Thai flavors, along with consistently delicious meals and sushi, are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates.
While the restaurant has been renovated, some customers miss the character and charm of the original look, such as the old curtains between booths and the sushi bar, which added a special touch to the dining experience. Despite this, the food and service remain some of the best in town. The curry is absolutely amazing, and the mango sticky rice is a favorite dessert. The staff is knowledgeable and ensures dietary needs are met, such as gluten allergies, with modifications to the rolls. The spicy edamame is also highly recommended.
