They are always closed. I have tried stopping in and calling in orders multiple times over the past several weeks and they are never open.

We had the Tom Kha soup and Drunken Noodles with shrimp. Both dishes were served quickly and beautifully and incredibly tasty. We had a spot of Delicious Jasmine tea and Thai ice tea I was surprised we had the place to ourselves. And for a one man show the owner does a great job. The inside of the restaurant is tastefully decorated and inviting, comfortable and a lovely place to dine. I hope more people bring him well deserved business that his cooking deserves.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian or Pescatarian options. Yummy peanut sauce, I am hoping for Chicken Satay eventually.

Be Warned all ye who wish to dine here! We were looking for a place to eat but wanted to stay away from the downtown area due to a parade being held. "Ah, let's try the Pad Thai Cafe, we've never eaten there." Online ordering, no problem. Google maps stated 'open until 8pm.I was able to put order items in the cart for pickup, and was able to fill out name and other details. I clicked on order (which looked like it may have gone through) but received no confirmation, nor could I enter my card info. Concerned that they may not have received the order, I drove over TO DISCOVER THEY WERE CLOSED. No note on the door, no explanation.WHY?So, how hard can it be to update Google maps that you're closed? Maybe there was an emergency, and they had to close suddenly; that I do not know. Leave a handwritten note on the door at the very least. The phone number was a pre-recorded message with no chance to talk to anyone either. Can't say it was a positive experience, quite the opposite in fact. Thus, as usual -Caveat Emptor!

Pad Thai Cafe is one of our favorites! Food is delicious, service is fast, the presentation was beautiful and made with care, and the restaurant has a sweet and warm vibe. We usually order takeout and food is ready quick. Don’t sleep on this restaurant!!

Food was amazing. To go packaging was great. Most important the cook/server was very nice and multitasked very nicely. Will definitely return.

We loved the food here prior to Covid and then they were closed for most of 2020 and 2021 but reopened in April 2022 for in-house dining. Limited seating for about 20 persons. The chef is excellent and the food's presentation is beautiful and tastes much better than the other Thai place downtown. Sadly, it was just a 1-person shop the Friday night that we were there but there was no delay in the food prep time even with four other tables. We love the food and hope he finds table staff and expands the seating capacity.

OMG this food was excellent so much food for a very reasonable price. I wasn't impressed with the dining area and ordered take out. Best ever Thai food I have ever had. All 3 dinners were fantastic and I can not recommend this place strong enough. Stop don't go anywhere else to eat until you give this food a try.

Our dining experience was gorgeous. The beautiful food presentation all edible. The flavor of our food spot on, food made to order! Going from ONLY take out during COVID-19 to Full service once again. I commend them! Thank you for service and coming back with a smile and warmth! You have a special place in our families heart!

Got excited to order for lunch as everything is closed on a Mondays in DeLand, but called and found out they are closed until January. Back to Thailand for holidays. Wish they changed their hours on google ?

Went there to get Thai. Being that they only do take out should have been a red flag. It has been my experience that restaurants that are take out only cut a lot of corners possibly because most people won’t go back to get there order corrected once they get home with the food. On the day i went here i ordered their Thai wings and fried rice. The wings were the smallest ive seen anywhere like from a baby chic. And the fried rice tasted like they didn’t put any seasoning or sauce at all in the rice. It tasted like steamed rice with cucumbers and tomatoes. No flavor. (No I didn’t have covid). The wings tasted fine they were just ridiculously small and not worth the price. I would rather go to the “other Thai place” around the corner next to the sub shop. They flavor their food. Maybe they had an off night who knows every place drops the ball every now and then but this was not a good experience.

Ordered phad Thai with chicken, med spice. There was almost NO chicken in it, and no spice. Sauce was far too sweet. I wish the guy well, but come on....

Best Pad Thai I ever had, I had Pad Thai in Los Angeles, San Francisco, CA, and. This is the best right on point. Sweet, Sour, and Salty just like the episode, from Chef Cham along with Chef Ramsey. (Too bad they're not open on the weekends.)
