The food he was really good in the service was great but it is way too loud and there you can't even hear the person across the table talk to you without yelling.

Came in at 2:10 with group of 3 people and they refused service due to them closing …. They closed at 3. Also the hostess seemed very abrasive when delivering the news to my brother. My stomach was pretty much eating itself from being so hungry and we chose to go here over many other options and we were all so excited. Disappointed is an understatement.

My party of four arrived at 2:15 pm and they wouldn’t seat us, they said they close in 45 minutes so they stopped seating. Never heard of that before. What business denies business?

This restaurant is very nice. Fine dining, ala carte menu. 16 oz, 14,oz ribeye cooked to exacting standards. However for the price I was expecting linen table clothes and napkins. Paper napkins and no table cloth is what was there.

We had great communication with Heidi, who reserved our table as the number of guests kept changing. Our server was friendly, informative, and patient as we chatted for a bit before we were ready to order. Drinks came out promptly. Everyone at our table of 10 enjoyed their food. I was grateful that there were healthy dishes and not just the same tired offerings I see everywhere these days. Our one complaint is that after our food was delivered, the server never came back. Not to ask how things were, not to take a dessert order, nothing, until she brought the check quite a while later. We were celebrating a special occasion and would have ordered dessert. She also did not offer a take-home container for one in our party who obviously needed it. It was just strange to be ignored for 45 minutes, and left wondering when the check would arrive. Then when it did, the tip had already been added because were were a large group. OK, I get it, the server should not be stiffed. We are generous tippers anyway. But I had to wonder, would she have been more attentive if she weren't assured of her tip? We would have added more to the 20% if she hadn't forgotten us.

The food was awesome, service was a little slow. Parking was so so. Went about an hour from closing so it was slim

Food wasn't hot or well seasoned. Bartender was all over. He honestly seemed like he was high on like coke or something. Everything is overpriced!!! Especially because it like smelled really weird in the dark basement area where the restaurant is. Ohhh..... and like half the menu wasn't available! No cheese curds, no pork belly, literally no appetizers. Then out of pot pie and osso. Every time I try this place it's awful. The owners are immature and take no "ownership " of things so I won't be back.

We were in Deland for afternoon and decided to have an early dinner. I have been wanting to try The Table based on the reviews and menu. We parked on the street and realized after we got out of the car that the entrance is around back where they do have a parking lot. We hesitated eating there because you have to climb down a pretty steep set of stairs which is mainly a concern because Larry was recently released from a long hospital stay which caused him to have to learn to walk again. But I saw a sign that said call for elevator and we hoped we could take it back up. We managed the stairs that end at a nice outdoor dining area that had a large tile mural of a manatee. We opted to eat inside. We were promptly greeted and told to seat anywhere we liked. Our waiter was Chance who gave us menus and took our drink order. Larry asked about the fried chicken and was told it is four buttermilk soaked, then fried, boneless chicken thighs. They were having a buy one get one so we both chose it. The chicken was really crispy and had a good 3 pepper jelly sauce. Larry had the Mac and Cheese side. I switched it for smashed potatoes. We were both happy with our dinner. Everything was delicious. We left full and satisfied with enough leftovers for another dinner each. We will definitely return!

Great menu. I had the pot pie but will definitely get the meat loaf next time. My wife had the scallops and she said they were sweet and delicious.Updated March 6, 2024. The original review was a couple of years ago. Since then the place has new owners and the food has gone way down.Service was still good and the atmosphere is the same. None of us used the restrooms while we there so I cannot comment on the cleanliness of those.Probably will not return. For the price there are better meals available within walking distance.

I really enjoyed the gumbo at lunch. Liked it so much after 2 bites regretting not getting the dinner portion instead of lunch. Was still

Food was ok. Bartender was fantastic during our experience. Bathrooms were absolutely atrocious for the quality of food and drink that they advertise for the price that marketed. Definitely need work in that department. Food for brunch is inconsistent week to week. Bottomless mimosas are the saving grace.

Went here today on Saturday roughly around 11am. Surprisingly we were seated IMMEDIATELY. Which was shocking as it was right at brunch and also a ton of people downtown. First time here and we fell in LOVE!!! First of all its ALL YOU CAN EAT brunch (at least on Saturdays) there were so many options! Every bit of it was 5 star quality. Our waitress Jasmine was super sweet and knowledgeable! She even convinced us to try the french toast (which was not "normal" french toast) and it was divine! Its all you can eat but with a slight twist! YOU choose what you want from a menu and its cooked and brought to your table perfectly portioned so you can try many different options without getting overwhelmed! If you are a breakfast person then you know MOST restaurants have subpar grits very bland and boring NOT HERE!!! The Table Restaurant has to have THE BEST grits Ive ever had!! We will definitely be back. It was about $95 for 3 of us which included mimosas for two people and it is ABSOLUTELY worth EVERY PENNY!!!
