Just saw they need more reviews here! I'm in! More than just an eating establishment. It's one of the last hometown places that's not a chain where you can make new friends and eat in a welcoming atmosphere.
I'm there several days a week. I can recommend the Eggs Benedict Florentine, The French Toast or Pancake Combo, Any of the build your own egg combos, and the Boss or Half Boss.
Things are tough for everyone but ditch the chains and trade out with this place and keep this gem alive.... 💗

I usually do not put negative reviews on restaurants…. But today’s lunch was not good. First we had to wait about 20-30 minutes to place our order then when we did it took about 45 minutes for food to come out- 2 sandwiches and fries. The sandwich I ordered was a roast beef with melted cheese… it tasted like a steak umm sandwich….potato salad… potatoes were not cooked all the way.. they refunded me… first time there….last one too. Sorry but just trying to help the place out to step up their game.
I used to really like this spot. They were a decent value for breakfast or lunch. Unfortunately their prices are crazy now. I was just charged $19 for a cheeseburger, fries, and a coke. That's just insane, the meal is fine but absolutely not worth that amount. After tip I'm out almost 25 bucks, which is just too much for lunch for one. Sucks, because you want to support local business and avoid chains, but with these prices its not possible.

The food was really good but serving it on plastic plate was a little off putting..I think it's time to update/upgrade all your stuff. Even the menus were in a school folder with a plastic sleeve & plastic red picnic table covers on the tables.

Came in for breakfast and I was highly satisfied. Bacon was a little thin but was delicious. The biscuits and gravy was good but the biscuit was a little chewy and that’s probably because they had way too much gravy on it. I am pretty sure that they would have made it right if I asked but I am not about making these small business over work and waste food just because it’s not perfect. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

Village Café was amazing! The restaurant is clean, the staff is kind/helpful/attentive and the food was extremely tasty. I highly recommend this cozy breakfast joint to everyone and I hope that they spread all across Florida and the US one day! Keep it up Village Café and thank you for a beautifully decorated spot to have a wonderful meal at! God Bless!
