The first time I went there when they first opened the gal at the register over charged me by a lot. Then when she adjusted my price she forgot to take my coupon for $5 off I think it was? I didn’t catch her mistake until I returned home. The owner wouldn’t refund my money without the receipt, which I had thrown away at the restaurant.
More recently I ordered a pint (and was charged the correct price) and the custard was very good if not excellent. We are so lucky to have two ice cream parlors in town that make their own gelato and custard. The price wasn’t bad, either, considering what a pint of inferior ice cream costs at the supermarket.

the cookie monster ice cream is insane and I love that it doesn't have blue food coloring, and that the cookies for the ice cream sandwiches taste homemade. thank you guys

Although I bought the caramel apple pie custard at the Pioneer village, I’ll def stop by Deland, to get the whole experience.

When you’re in DeLand, you must come to Whit’s Frozen Custard. I came with my dad and brother and had an amazing time. We ordered a banana split, vanilla ice cream, and the Buckeye Madness. All of these items were delicious, definitely coming back.

We love bringing the family here for a sweet treat and to play the claw machines.
The best place to indulge in incredible thick, creamy, sweet-covered custard ice cream with a friend or family. It was so amazing that I wished I had captured a photo of my dessert, but it vanished too quickly—too delicious to resist!
What a great place! The service was awesome, the frozen custard delicious, the staff were wonderful. We'll definitely be back.

I Ordered from here and got a very specific order when I got my ice cream it had chocolate which I didn’t order I also informed them that I was allergic. They stated Reece’s pieces have chocolate(they don’t) and stated they would make me one with just the peanut butter topping.. they give me the order with the recesses pieces and then as I’m eating bite into chocolate realizing they tried to just dump out what the gave me last instead of making me what I paid for.. super rude never going here again.

MOVE OVER ICE CREAM! Custard is here to stay. This is my FAVORITE place to go for a sweet treat. The daily flavor menu is always changing and there are so many topping options. The employees are always really friendly and patient as they often have a lot of people in line- probably because everything is DELICIOUS. They also have to go containers if you know what you want and you want to be in and out. AND- they offer vegan options as well as sugar free options- truly something for everyone!!!
