I recently visited Wing Express at 955 S Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL and ordered two hibachi chicken platters for takeout. Although the restaurant was quiet inside, they appeared busy with several to-go orders. I placed my order and waited around 20 minutes, which seemed reasonable given the circumstances. The chicken was excellent, but the egg fried rice was somewhat bland, and I noticed a few hard pieces of rice. However, the portion sizes were generous, and overall, I would consider returning to try a different dish next time.

05/13/24,I order house special rice combo w 10 chicken wings, food was very bad,rice very hard,no flavor,shrimp taste very weird and funny, taste like old rice also ,wing are over saucy,and very strong flavor. Very disappointed.

What a mess. I get my order and it was bagged and ready. Set on the floor of car and it had leaked out into the bag and on the floor of my car. One of the packages was broke open from poor bagging. So what was going to be a good meal ended up to a trip to the detail shop to be cleaned. Three hundred dollars later for a detail was the most expensive order I ever placed. I surely won't be back unless something is done.

I really enjoy the food and of course the owners! My favorite is the honey lemon pepper ex crispy with mild sauce on the side. The fish and shrimp are really good as well as the seafood boils.

The young woman at the cash register was very nice. However The food was not good at all. Definitely do not eat here if you are allergic to seafood because everything fried tastes like it was cooked in the same oil as the shrimp my fries tasted like shrimp my wings tasted like shrimp and the Philly cheesesteak was below average. On top of that the restaurant was visibly dirty and the ladies room smelled like it had not been mopped for a week or more I would not recommend this place. Very disappointed.

Had wings and fries mild/honey.. nothing to call home about . Fries was definitely useless. Wings boring. I mean if you’re desperate. Marcos is definitely 10 times better next door!
