I recently visited Wing Express at 955 S Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL and ordered two hibachi chicken platters for takeout. Although the restaurant was quiet inside, they appeared busy with several to-go orders. I placed my order and waited around 20 minutes, which seemed reasonable given the circumstances. The chicken was excellent, but the egg fried rice was somewhat bland, and I noticed a few hard pieces of rice. However, the portion sizes were generous, and overall, I would consider...
I really enjoy the food and of course the owners! My favorite is the honey lemon pepper ex crispy with mild sauce on the side. The fish and shrimp are really good as well as the seafood boils.
The interior was gorgeous and clean, and the wings were fantastic. I am so impressed with the size and price of the wings. The sauces seemed to be homemade and I was super happy with the quality. Also, the ranch was delicious (and I'm picky about ranch).
