Nicholas was our waiter and he was the Best! ššš¾Accommodated us very well and we have a great time with a oceanic view of Delray Beach.
Hostess was rude as soon as we walked in. Said they weren't accepting walk ins. So we got online and booked a reservation for 30 mins later. They didn't honor the reservation. Manager wasn't polite either. After waiting an hour at the bar we decided to leave and eat somewhere else. I've eaten at this place several times, but will not be going back after that experience. Tina at the bar was great though. Ended up eating at 432 cute with much much better service.
Went here to celebrate my 1 month engagement with my fiancƩ. The food and atmosphere is great but my service was very poor. The waiter like he was upset with another table but we also got that energy too.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at 50 Ocean this week and it was amazing! Our server, Brenden, was the best. He even brought us out celebratory glasses of champagne which was super thoughtful. The food was delicious and we loved the atmosphere! Next time we are in Delray we will definitely be eating here again.

Our server, Cindy, was amazing! Sheās caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. She even went as far as asking Chef David to come to our table to make sure I got a delicious meal that didnāt contain any of the foods Iām allergic to. The mahi entree he suggested was the best meal Iāve had in a long time, and to top it all off, the ocean view was beautiful. Our overall experience here was lovely.

Although food was good, our experience was not what we were hoping for at all. Reservation was made to celebrate my birthday today. Within a few minutes of sitting our server, who didnāt have any type of greet, started asking us for drink orders. Throughout service he was very flustered and clearly sweating. I ordered a wine off the āby the glassā menu and was told they no longer serve it, and hadnāt for a while. Yet itās still listed on the menu. Once server came back with my second option wine, we told him we were ready but was never made aware of specials off menu. We had no clue about them until he graciously told the table behind us (without them asking for specials). Come to find out thereās a twin lobster tail dish off menu, which was exactly what I was looking for to enjoy this evening. I had already ordered scallops, so of course this was upsetting and we had already been waiting for main courses for a while so I didnāt want to ask about specials/change what I ordered. Lastly, there was NOTHING mentioned about my birthday or even a birthday dessert offered. I ordered the Key lime pie in a jar, and my boyfriend even asked for them to at least add a candle which they still failed to do. I feel awful because my boyfriend was very excited to take me out and treat me for my celebration, and weāre both leaving highly disappointed.

My wife and sisters celebrated my 65th birthday celebration here on the 22nd of July. Our server Ana was very friendly and attentive (we were only one of two tables).
The appetizers were fine, the flatbread was well made; the grilled octopus salad/appetizer was ok! The main courses each had a problem with execution;
Lobster Risotto with a N. Y. Steak was simply overwhelming in such a bad way that it could have served 4 guests easily. The Chef should do some research as to how a risotto is properly served. The Salmon was dry and overcooked; the Mahi Mahi was too salty; the grouper was ok!
For dessert we shared beignets that we had never seen before!!! The size of Baseballs...again the Chef needed to do some research...
No presentation was worth a picture!
For what we spent for this "upscale"dinner experience, we were sadly disappointed!

my daughter and I went there last night and we the best experience., Anna was our waitres so nice. I recommend going and having Anna as you waitres the best!!!!
We were there last thursday June 27. We brought our friend who flew in that day. Everything was perfect. My tab was $134.00 dollars I let a 25.00 tip on my tab that brought it to 159.00. The other day doing my checkbook i was off 25.00. So I called my bank and we went over my transaction and we found out Ocean had added another 25.00 tip so my tab was 184.52. I will never go back. Check your tab after you go for they might add some more money on it.

The staff was amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable. However, the food didn't taste fresh and was bland. We were a party of 6 and all got something different and not one person loved their food. The atmosphere is good and nice views. The place would be packed if the food was so much better.

The view is breathtaking. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. I have celiac, and the waitress was able to make recommendations. Everything was perfect!
Dietary restrictions: I have celiac and other food allergies. Besides the menu items listed as gluten-free, the waitress was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone with dietary restrictions.
