One thing I don't play about is Haitian food! This place has consistently provided good plate after good plate. I stop here often when I'm working in the area and have never been disappointed. It's a family ran establishment that you can feel and taste thru the food. It's definitely worth the try if you're ever interested in Haitian food.
This is the place you go to if you like your food seasoned and if you want a lot of food. This is the place for a “cheat day “. The black rice is so good, the griot is crispy with the right amount of fat. You may wait up to 20 minutes but it’s worth the wait in my opinion.
This place could EASILY 5 stars. The food is absolutely amazing!! The only thing they need to improve is customer service. We need to stop normalizing bad customer service in Caribbean restaurants. They could really be more successful if they had a more kind and welcoming demeanor. I will be so excited for their food, but then get unsatisfied knowing the customer service I will face.
