Ana's Killer Empanadas

This place so happens to be next to Tint America, so I walked over…WOW! Great empanadas & great friendly service. I had the arroz con carne & the beef brisket empanadas. Both delicious. I’ll be back with the wife. Kids may join to checkout the desserts. Thanks!

Delicious tasting empanadas, we had the classic beef and ham and cheese. The hot sauce and chimichurri were great as well.

The empanadas were some of the best I've ever had. Big too, I ordered three but could only finish two.

I always drive past this place on my way to work. I was always curious but skeptical about trying it out because of the location but I gotta tell y’all!! WOW!! Just Wow!! I might have found my favorite empanadas spot!! It’s located in a small strip mall near Lake Ida and Congress.

They have wide and great selections of empanada fillings (ranging from the classics chicken or beef to brisket, ham and cheese, rice and beef & they have vegetarian option as well) the fillings are quite generous, thin crust and packed with delicious fillings. They’re served with chimichurri and hot sauce. They have small selection of mini desert empanadas also!!

We ordered the classic beef, brisket and chicken curry. Apple pie and guava for dessert empanadas and they were all awesomely delicious!!

I took out 3 prepared empanadas and they were all absolutely delicious. The quality of the fillings and pastry shell were way beyond what you would imagine. The brisket was my favorite but all were great.

Only thing missing is a coffee machine to offer.

I usually go there for lunch when I'm in Delray. It helps me stay away from eating fast foods that are bad for me and add extra pounds.

The empanadas were tasteless.

These are by FAR the best empanadas we have ever had! The Buffalo Chicken and BBQ Brisket are to die for, and Philly Cheesesteak comes close. Whenever we are up in this area from Fort Lauderdale, we always get some to bring home… Today we specifically asked if the Meatball Parmesan was pork because we do not eat pork due to religious reasons, and was told it does have pork, so obviously we didn’t order it. So today, March 14 2025, we ordered the usual 3 Buffalo Chicken, 3 Brisket, and 1 Philly Cheesesteak, but as soon as my fiancé bit into it, it was the Meatball Sub and he immediately had to spit it out. To be fair, we did see the girl grab it from the Philly Cheesesteak row, but when he went in to get the correct empanada, sure enough the second one she gave us was also Meatball Parm. I’m unsure what to rate because all other experiences have been 5 stars, everything from the employees to service to quality, but imagine if my fiancé had a pork allergy, it could’ve been much worse. For now I feel like I have to leave only 2 stars, but I will definitely change to 5 in the future.. I just hope this review will bring awareness to quality control and how important it is when customers have food restrictions.

Thank you to the owner for reaching back out. We figured it’s probably a one time mistake, and a refund won’t be necessary since we ended up getting a different flavor as a replacement. We will be back soon =)
