I celebrated my birthday with family. Everything was superb. The food was delicious, everyone in my party enjoyed their food. There were 8 of us and our food came out quickly. Our server was terrific and very attentive. I was my first time but definitely not my last.

Always such a good experience here! It’s my go to spot for happy hour and light bites. The bartenders, never fail! My drinks are always made well and they are always paying attention. We came in with a few people and the bartenders immediately remembered me and started making my spicy margarita. The happy hour pricing is unbeatable. For those that frequent the ave, this is a must. See you guys soon!!!

My family and I dined here on New Year’s Eve, 12/31/25. This was our second time at Avalon and we had an absolutely fantastic experience. Our servers, Kayla and Zack, went above and beyond to make all of us feel welcome and valued throughout the dinner. Kayla and Zack would periodically check on each of us to make sure we were enjoying our drinks and meals. We definitely did! There was not a single thing wrong or incorrect about our time. Everything was perfect thanks to Kayla, Zack, and the speedy staff here. My family and I love the food and the wonderful staff here! We cannot wait to be back - and to the management team of Avalon, Kayla, and Zack deserve promotions for going above and beyond!

Pros: Nice place. All the cool kids are there. Great & friendly service. Food was very good & fresh.
Cons: Small food portions. Small drink portions (I drank soda - tiny glasses @ $5 each). ONE STALL BATHROOM! NOT COOL! Too many people in that restaurant for a one stall bathroom!

Had an incredible time at Avalon this past Friday night. Samantha and Wes took care of me at the bar and both were absolutely phenomenal! They were fun, engaging, energetic and knowledgeable of the cocktails and food. Will return again soon!

This place was packed and seemed trendy with a young clientele. Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. Both meals arrived cold the tater tots were undercooked and bland. The sourdough toast I requested was burnt. The eggs Benedict would’ve benefited from additional hollandaise sauce on the side.

We dined here on Saturday night with a 6:30 PM reservation while watching an NFL playoff game. Unfortunately, the service was poor from early in the meal, and the way the situation was handled at the end was both frustrating and inappropriate.
Service was slow and inattentive throughout the evening. During the final 25–30 minutes, we did not see our waitress at all. Our drinks were empty, we were not offered refills, coffee, or dessert, and we were never presented with a check—leaving us unable to close out our tab even if we wanted to.
Despite this lack of service, around 8:00 PM someone from the restaurant informed us that another party “had our table” and that we needed to wrap up. A few minutes later, the manager came over and said, “I know you guys are watching the football game, but we need the table.” This was particularly frustrating, as the issue was not that we were lingering over a game—we were waiting on service, had empty drinks, and had not even been given the check.
To make matters worse, the manager stood over our table with less than two minutes left in the game explaining why we needed to leave, ultimately causing us to miss the end entirely. Being rushed out while actively waiting on service—and then having that blamed on us—was unacceptable.
To his credit, the manager did remove our drinks and appetizers from the bill, which was appreciated. However, comping part of the check does not excuse consistently poor service or shifting responsibility onto the customer.
Managing reservations and table turnover is the restaurant’s responsibility. Guests should never be blamed for delays caused by a breakdown in service. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience—not because of timing, but because of poor service and how the situation was mishandled.

Elyse is truly top notch. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and positive energy, setting the perfect tone for a special brunch celebrating our close friend’s birthday, her first outing since welcoming her new baby.
The morning was wonderful overall, though we did experience an unfortunate interaction with another patron who reacted negatively to our group singing “Happy Birthday.” While the response was unexpected and inappropriate, several nearby tables expressed support and acknowledged that our group was simply celebrating respectfully and enjoying the moment.
I would like to formally apologize to the restaurant for the disruption caused by that individual’s actions. Elyse handled the situation with grace and professionalism, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure all guests were accommodated and comfortable.
This restaurant holds nothing but great memories for us, excellent service, welcoming staff, and a consistently enjoyable atmosphere. Special recognition goes to Max, the fantastic and accommodating bartender, Max, the manager on duty, and Maya, the hostess, who did everything possible to help manage the situation seamlessly.
We will absolutely continue to support Elyse and the incredible team who make it such a special part of the local community.

I brought my 12‑year‑old son and my 89‑year‑old mother here for lunch, and what we experienced was beyond unacceptable. A nearby table of women spent the entire time shrieking, screaming, and making loud, disruptive noises. When we politely asked if they could lower the volume so we could hear each other speak, they immediately began swearing at us. They appeared heavily intoxicated — at lunchtime — and completely out of control.
It didn’t stop there. They swore at my elderly mother, gave the middle finger to my 12‑year‑old son, and even directed a vulgar insult at him. Watching grown adults behave this way toward a child and an elderly woman was shocking.
And it wasn’t just us.
The table next to us leaned over to say they also couldn’t enjoy their meal because of how loud and unruly this group was. Multiple guests were disturbed, yet nothing was done.
The staff’s response made the situation even worse.
The manager, Max, openly said he didn’t care. The group then made rude comments about “people from the north,” despite the fact that we’re visiting from Australia. The hostess, Maya, was standing with them and told us that staff members had referred to us using an inappropriate slur. That level of unprofessionalism speaks volumes about the culture of this establishment.
Our server was the only person who showed any decency — she was so uncomfortable with what was happening that she personally escorted us out for our own comfort and safety. Imagine that: a family being walked out of a restaurant because management refuses to address harassment, profanity, and obscene gestures directed at a child and an elderly woman.
This restaurant tolerates abusive behavior, ignores guest safety, and shows no regard for basic hospitality. No family should ever be subjected to this.
Avoid this place. Delray Beach has plenty of restaurants that understand how to treat guests with respect — this is not one of them.
