Batch Gastropub: Delray Beach

I ordered a cobb salad with salmon as the protein. The salad came out with a sliver of salmon. I mentioned to the waitress that I order salads quite often at restaurants and had never been served such a small piece of salmon on the salad. The manager then came over and basically told me they serve a small piece to keep the price low and I should order two pieces of salmon if I wanted more. Now the price of the salad with the salmon added was by no means a price point less than other similar restaurants for a similar dish - clearly its just a way for Batch to maximize profit over providing a quality meal. The manager's comment to me felt ridiculous- why do I have to order and pay for 2 proteins on my salad to get a normal portion. I suggest anyone thinking of ordering a protein on a salad at Batch, think twice about choosing another dish if they are hungry. This experience and the lack of customer service by the manager left me with a negative view of the restaurant.

Solid Whiskey & Cigar guided tasting experience brought in by Batch and the Hooten Young team! It was great learning about the brand and tasting their wonderful whiskeys (Rye, 12 year Whiskey and new Bourbon). Fantastic pairing with their RTBA cigars, will gladly be buying both for the home bar and humidor. The Batch team worked hand in hand with the Hooten team, thanks to Jennifer and everyone at Batch for making us feel special last night!

We have been here many times. This time the food was terrible very very salty. I had the chicken pot pie, which I had a week or so ago then it was great this time it was so salty I couldn't eat it. My wife had salmon which she had the last time too. She ate most of it but it was way too salty.

The food and services were amazing. Ring was so charming and surprised me with a birthday treat.

Very good food. Abbey was a great server - attentive, personable, capable. Only had a bunch of appetizers. Will be back for mains.

CJ was excellent. Very attentive and responsive. We will specifically ask for her next time we come in.

Service was great. Noice level a little high for those who require hearing aids. I have several southern restaurants that I frequent and this is very high level. Best Shrimp and Grits around.

Our teen grandkids were down for a visit and we were delighted with Batch Southern Cooking! The menu is diverse enough so that we had no problem choosing entrees for a vegetarian, low calorie, and an avid meat eater ! Our server Danya was excellent. She explained entree choices helped with questions and was personable and friendly. The meal began with biscuits and burnt ends ! Both so delicious. The grilled salmon with quinoa was delicious as was the shrimp and grits. The bacon, lettuce and fried green tomato sandwich was a mouthful ! Our surprise strawberry ice cream and biscuit birthday dessert was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal!! We'll be back!!

This was our second time having dinner at Batch. The servers are helpful and very friendly, the food is excellent and the restaurant itself is so cozy!

The restaurant was empty, service was slow. We ordered our apps which took time. Our drinks came after the apps. I had the redfish and my wife had the salmon. Both dry!!! Two weeks ago we were there on Saturday and it was crowded. We had the same food and it was perfect. Not sure what's going on but we are not happy

We went for Thanksgiving. The food was good but nothing exceptional. I ordered the turkey dinner and so did my son. Both dinners were not served hot. Came out a little warm at best.

I have never gone to a restaurant on Thanksgiving and I did not have much in the way of expectations-I just wanted to be able to have dinner with family members. I was absolutely blown away by my experience. From the minute I walked in, everyone was great. The surroundings and ambience were beautiful. The people were welcoming. The food was absolutely exceptional, both in terms of the actual meal and the presentation. The service was fantastic-I felt badly for the people who had to work on Thanksgiving (and said so); their attitudes were so very welcoming and kind which was an amazing reflection on the business. I had the opportunity to meet the manager, Jennifer Brooks, who was charming and delightful. It is safe to say I will never cook again on Thanksgiving and I look forward to their Christmas dinner menu!! Batch will be my new tradition for the holidays!!! The Thanksgiving dinner was so good I would go back tonight if they were serving the meal again. I will definitely be a regular at Batch!! When you go, don't forget to order the biscuits! WELL DONE, BATCH!!

Overall, service was trash. My order was supposed to be pick up at 12:30. I arrived at 1:25 giving the restaurant an addition hour to hopefully have my order ready for pick up. I arrived to see a brunch of people standing around I'm assuming to pick up their order as well. The staff was all over the place, helping different guest while shouting different orders to each other. I feel as things would have went smoothly if each member would have all help to fix order by order instead of each trying to fix different. Once I received my order I was told that they had ran out of sweet potato and green beans which came included in my order. On top of that, once arriving home my potatoes were super salty and sour and the potatoes weren't even soft to the point that non of the kids ate it. The only good things about this 200 dollar meal order was the turkey, 10/10 but everything else sucked! Hopefully someone reaches out to accommodate!

What a pleasant surprise! We had tried this restaurant years ago when the first opened and were not impressed. Thought we would give it another try as they now advertise as NewSouthern. So glad we did! It was fabulous. From appetizers to dinners the food was delicious. The two bartenders were awesome and service was great and friendly. We can't wait to go back again and try some menu items. Definitely a keeper!

Excellent service, we were there for a 90th birthday celebration and somehow the entire staff was aware of it and turned it into a wonderful celebration. The menu is exceptional with the ability to customize some of the recipes. This was a Saturday brunch, will definitely be back
