Beach Market Cafe - Opal Grand Resort & Spa

Painting on our floor made us sick from the fumes. We spent more time at the front desk than we did in our room for our 20th anniversary. Too many problems to name. Been to other Opal facilities but will not be back to this one.

One of My Personal Family Favorites ♥️ I recommend this Hotel to everyone wanting to do it all ! Relaxation, Excellent Staff , Fabulous Food , Funnn Pool that Overlooks the Ocean , Fast and Delicious Barista Coffee Shop , Tammy Fender Spa experiences . I Promise from the Moment you are greeted outside by valet to the BEST Red Current candles that gives a heavenly smell at check in till you take your Last bite at Drift Restaurant.. You will LOVE every moment ! Life is grand at The Opal Grand 💫🏆💫

Reluctantly booked. Fab service - Ashley at Cascades was phenomenal!! Friendly, professional, just an amazing server!! Made the trip to the pool perfect!! Restaurants at the hotel were amazing! Elevate on the rooftop was beautiful! Service was great! Rooms were nice, small bathroom, but whatever. Go back again? Already booked!! Love it!! Opal got it right with this one!!

Fair prices and the food was excellent. Great place to eat healthy and quickly - whether staying at The Opal Resort or heading to the beach. I’m at the resort and would come back again either way. Unfortunately, I was not as impressed with the coffee drinks I ordered.

$10 a hour to park there ya gotta be a rich mofo to even look at the place I was just trying to find a place to study and have coffee gess not spot for college students

Terrible experience strongly recommend a hotel that offers better customer service. We had a serious leak in the bathroom. Took seven phone calls and three texts to have someone attempt to fix it. 40 minutes later. The room was waterlogged. There was no manager on site and, the staff would not provide the name of the hotel manager or assistant manager. Despite appearing at the desk three times we were unable to speak to any management staff. They finally moved us to a clean room as an upgrade to us. I suppose being moved from a wog room to a dry room is an upgrade. The hotel is a mess. On par with the Holiday Inn.

Low star review because subpar ingredients for the mocha. The chocolate offering was Hershey syrup which is full of corn syrup. Not good.

I don’t recommend staying here. They not only charged pet fees during an emergency evacuation but then charged me for 2 pets! I have one!! I have called & emailed numerous times. Spoke to Norman. He even said we had one pet but they can’t change the fees because we checked out- I asked for a bill before leaving the property and they said it would be emailed. I never got it. I had to call. And still nobody will assist. I paid over $600 in pet fees! Plus tax on top of the pet fee!! What a joke. Don’t stay here- they are horrible. No customer service. Norman said his manger told us to dispute to charges with our credit card company so I guess that’s what my next option will be. DONT STAY HERE 🚫🚫🚫

This place is fun, clean, and full of options. Honestly, their grand classic sandwich is hands down one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. It's one of my go to places whenever I visit

We experienced bugs in the room, in the bed, and stained sheets. We also experienced extremely rude staff and management that was not available to us when we needed them. The management proved to be incompetent as they did not offer us a refund, and they are also withholding our deposit, even though they admitted there were being bugs in the room, and even washed all of our clothes because of it. No refund, and a horrible experience. We will never be back.

Amazing experience. The staff were outstanding from the outside pool deck to the rooftop bar and everything in between. And the food was delicious to boot. Five stars all day!

Love Drift restaurant. Try it after a day at the beach.
