Had Easter Happy Hour and dinner here. Lukas was an awesome server! He was personable, efficient, very customer service oriented. His food recommendations were spot on. We always like to eat and drink at Burt & Max's (inside or out are both good). We’ll definitely be back and look forward to having Lukas as our server.

Lukas our server made our experience fantastic. He was super friendly, so experienced, and extremely attentive. Although he was extremely busy with many demanding tables, he was still able to be an amazing server. Nothing frazzled him at all, and he always had a genuine smile on his face. So nice!! The food was also very good, we have been coming for many years, and will continue to do so! Even the gentleman busser, came running after my brother to tell him he left his cell phone at the table. Overall, a great evening!Dietary restrictions: My brother has dietary restrictions, and it was not a problem to order his dinner, prepared as he instructed, heart healthy and delicious!

Very nice restaurant. I highly recommend their specialty cocktails paired with the Brussels sprouts very delicious .Also the Korean bowl very good ! Christina was our waitress and she was very kind and even made us laugh . Overall great experience great food i will definitely be going back.

Russell was our waiter on Saturday and we were very pleased with his service and the food. We were seated quickly despite being late for our reservation and the whole experience was pleasant. Please be aware that if you do not choose to use their valet it is very difficult to find parking on Saturdays which is what happened to us and you will have to park very far.

We came to burt and max hoping for a nice simple Sunday lunch. I came with my wife and my son. It was our first time coming to burt and max in a long time and we hoped that the food would taste as good as we remembered. The host sat us down and we were greeted by our friendly and helpful waiter. But that was about the only good part about this restaurant. We ordered the cornbread to start, and when it came out it was average at best. It tasted very greasy. We then ordered our main courses. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs. And my wife and son ordered their burger. I got my toast and when I first tried the eggs I noticed they were UNACCEPTABLY greasy. I tried the toast and the corn on top was burnt and the toast was disgusting and very thick. My wife’s burger didn’t look that bad but my sons was completely raw. We had to send it back to be cooked more. They tried the burger and the ingredients were not fresh at all and the burger had a weird taste. The water cups were quite small and when I finished mine, our waiter never came back to offer us more. When we finally finished our terrible food, the price came out to $72 dollars. FOR FOOD THAT WAS MEDIOCRE AT BEST. Extremely overpriced, bad food, and overall not a good experience. don’t recommend. Don’t go. Im furious. Never coming back here again.Edit: it is around 3 hours since I wrote this review. I now have bad food poisoning and I am going through stomach pains. Unacceptable.

Excellent burgers. Great service and atmosphere. We go at least once a week. Steaks, pasta, you name it. All 1st class.
A bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for! I’ve been here a few times and had consistently good service and food! I definitely recommend their calamari and trying any of their specials! We had this middle aged baldguy the last two times and he was super nice but I don’t remember what his name is.
