We grew up in Connecticut, before moving to Florida many years ago, and have fond memories with our family eating Pepe’s in New Haven. Every time I went back to visit, we did our family pilgrimage to Pepe’s. So, of course, when we found out a location opened in Delray, we drove 1.5 hours from Vero Beach to enjoy this amazing pizza and carry on the tradition with our extended family and friends here in Florida. The wood charred pizza, delicious salads and drinks never disappoint . All the pizzas are delicious, but I always order the white clam pizza that is unique to Pepe’s. Jasmine was delightful and took good care of us. Thank you Pepe’s for bringing a little slice of home to Florida!

If you like thin, New Haven style pizza, this is it. We always get the 3 pie sampler and take home leftovers. The salads are good as well.

We stumbled upon this place while out on a Sunday drive. We stopped in and was immediately greeted and seated by a gentleman. Our order was taken in a timely fashion and our pie came out in good time...and the pie was okay. It was good, but nothing to write home about. That's where the goodness stopped. Our server never came back to our table the entire time we were seated. We got no refills. I wanted to order a salad and a drink, but the server never returned. Even when we wanted to leave, we had to flag down our server. We probably won't return.

I drove down from Port Saint Lucie, and I’m so glad I did. Having tried the New Haven, CT location before, I wanted to compare the two. The moment I opened the box, I knew I couldn’t wait until I got home; I had to enjoy a slice right there in the parking lot. Wow, was that pizza good! The crust, sauce, and toppings were all fresh and full of flavor.

Yes, the price was a little on the higher side, but it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant was easy to find with plenty of parking, and the inside was clean, bright, and welcoming. There’s also outdoor seating, which makes it even better for enjoying this quality pizza.

Overall, it was well worth the drive, and I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it.
