I’ve been looking for a rainbow cookie cake for my birthday for a couple of years now, and was really happy to find it. Tastes just like the cookie, I recommend eating it chilled right out of the fridge!
Gramma's Bakery in Delray Beach used to be the go-to spot for cake lovers—a treasure trove of sweet delights where you could always find the perfect cake for any occasion. Birthdays, holidays, or even those “just because I deserve cake” days—it had it all. Walking in felt like entering a dessert wonderland, with cases brimming with flavors, styles, and options that made choosing almost impossible (in the best way).
Lately, though, things have shifted. While the cakes they do offer are still as delicious and well-made as ever, the selection has become noticeably limited. The once-vibrant variety that made this bakery a local gem feels like it’s taken a step back. It’s a bit disappointing when you’re looking for that perfect, unique treat and realize the options are far fewer than before.
That said, Gramma's Bakery still holds onto its charm. The cakes they have are fresh, flavorful, and clearly baked with care—true to that homemade, “made with love” feel they’ve always been known for. The staff remains friendly, and the quality of their products hasn’t dropped, which keeps it worth a visit.
Here’s hoping they bring back the full, exciting collection that made them stand out in the first place. Gramma’s Bakery still has the potential to be that sweet haven we all loved, and with a little more variety, they could easily reclaim their crown as Delray Beach’s cake destination. 🍰

I was very disappointed because I love going to the farmers market. Someone over at the farmers market recommend that I come and try the pizza , the bakery and the ice cream shop because they were all the same owner.
I first stopped in at the bakery and noticed that they had Some of the same desserts as the farmers market.
When I mentioned that to the little Hispanic girl with the round face that worked there, I don’t know why she lied and said they weren’t the same desserts. She honestly was kind of getting irritating to me. She kept trying to avoid a lot of my questions. It was weird !
So anyways, I ordered the Keylime pie. I could tell right away that it was frozen because of the way that it looked, but I literally didn’t think that they would actually serve it frozen. When I got to my car and stuck my fork in it, it was as hard as a rock. I had to eat around it. Just Tacky !!
If I wanted frozen Keylime pie, then I can just go to Publix. The taste was good but the texture was off because it wasn’t thawed out properly.
Why would a small mom and pops be serving frozen Key lime pie in the first place is a mystery to me because it’s literally so easy to make that if you make them the night before and refrigerate them to serve the next day. It’s should be okay. I wasn’t even able to finish the pie because it was still frozen. What a disappointment. Hopefully, they can bring the quality back up.
This place is so good they should change admissions. Every time I come down from Orlando this is one of the first places I go to. The cinnamon raisin bead is out of this world let alone all the other amazing cakes , cookies and muffins. When they say freshly baked they are not lying . Hope to be back soon.
Demetrios.

Best bakery in South Florida. This bakery is as good as any of the great bakeries in New York City. The cakes are amazing, along with all the different styles of breads pastries cookies cannolis and rugelach. Prices of reasonable for the quality of the goods that you buy from them. Always fresh and family-owned for generations. Highly recommended.

The food is delicious . The problem is this is the second time my order was not completed. I came to pick up a pre ordered birthday cake and it was not done so no birthday cake ! For Thanksgiving, my pre ordered pie was not made. The cake was correct. Had to get a different pie. It was special for one of my guests so had to get something else. Just disappointed that no one really cared!

My first time here and was blown away by all the pastries! The pastries were delicious the atmosphere not so much, everyone was just standing behind the counter and just talking. No greetings or anything.

I drive 45 minutes to go here because I love the fresh pastries. They have a decent variety. I didn't give 5 stars because the pies say no sugar added but you have to read the small print to find they added fake sugar-nutrasweet. Gives me a raging headache. Wish no sugar added mean exactly that or they say sugar substitute added.

The Boys, The Girls, Grammas, it’s all the same family and there’s nothing they touch that isn’t excellent. Take Grammas… one of the best bakeries in Florida. With a French Pastry chef on premise, every pastry and cake is special. The sign says The Best Key Lime Pie… and yes it is! Cookies , fresh bread, the choices are endless. Need something special or just want something sweet… look no further… Grammas got you covered.

Weird? Picked up a Mocha Cake ( family have been having these for decades in NJ/NY). This cake came with a dark, grayish, oat meal looking, grainy cake flour inside, the appearance alone ruined the taste. Mocha cakes like the seven layer cakes should be YELLOW cake inside,.Messaged them to see if this is how "they "make it, or was this a one off mistake? NO REPLY BACK.

I’ve been coming to Gramma’s bakery for years and SO disappointing to find out recently that they’ve changed some of the ingredients in their recipes from REAL cream cheese icing to buttercream icing in their carrot cake. They’re no longer making their red velvet cake with cream cheese icing either. One of the reasons I like to support mom and pop business instead of going to big box stores is because I want to preserve quality brands who use better ingredients, have better customer service. If Grammas is using the same cheap buttercream icing as Publix or any other chain stores why would I go out of my way to buy from Grammas?

A pitiful hole-in-the-wall scam joint. The low-quality pastries are overpriced and way past their sale date, the service is non-existent. Stale in every way.

Terrible service; cookies were not freshly baked (as they told us), but hard and tasteless.
The place is way overpriced, overrated and over hyped.
It's a dump with tons of fake five star reviews. Avoid.
