Wonderfully intimate longtime trattoria in Delray Beach, owned and operated by a delightful family with service by an amazingly friendly staff. Every appetizer, soup, salad and entrée made to order, with offerings such as Lemon Sole, Yellowtail Snapper, Lamb Chops, Osso Bucco, and outstanding veal and pasta dishes. Desserts equally amazing. The repeat clientele since 1980 is testiment to this South Florida gem's success! Be sure to make a reservation!

We thought the food was good, almost very good, but definitely short of great. Our round table for six was near the entrance and the noise level was surprisingly quiet.
I had two major complaints: the wine by the glass list did not identify whose wine was being offered, just the grape as in cabernet or chardonnay. That might be ok for a pizza joint but definitely not for a serious restaurant. My other complaint was with the bill. It was unreadable. We showed it to our server who proceed to rattle off what each of the six of us ordered. What??? We expected a new, readable bill would be offered but no such luck. A very amaturish operation.

Pleasant atmosphere, however, our chicken dish was tough and our veal dish was also tough. We brought this to the attention of the waitress who listened, said nothing, and never returned to our table. A very disappointing evening at very high prices. We will not return.

So disappointed in this restaurant. I remembered loving it, especially the veal francese, from several years ago. Went with 8 friends tonight. The veal dish was tough, bland and sauce was watery. In fact 1 friend sent it back. The prices have skyrocketed. A glass of house Cabernet Sauvignon was $17. Piece of tiramisu was $15 and ribeye steak was $60. The AC was off most of our meal and it was ridiculously hot in the seating area. On top of that the waitress was a bit surly.
Unfortunately we will not be back.

This restaurant was unreasonably expensive. The food was good. There was no atmosphere....just as many tables and chairs as could fit in the room. A member of our party ordered bottled sparkling water for $15 which was flat!!! When I called to inform the maitre d, I was told it would be removed from the bill. No apologies whatsoever!!I started to wonder what else could be outdated.........

Absolutely great from soup to gelato! Great service - thanks Kristy! We had a group of 4 for our anniversary. Mushroom soup - amazing, saltimbocca - best I've ever had, branzino(special) - amazing, chocolate gelato - incredible. We are so happy we spent our anniversary here. I'm looking forward to going back...often.

Waitress was not very friendly, food was mediocre at bestFIRST TIME I WAS EVER ASKED TO LEAVE OUR TABLE AFTER 1 1/2 hours at the table so others could be seated.was BEYOND rude.there were 2 other tables of 4 that had been there before we arrived, yet they asked us to leave to clear a table.will never be going back
