The Island Buzz truck comes around almost once a week to my apartment building, and I always make my boyfriend get me a plate of oxtail! These guys always deliver the Caribbean flavors I crave!
Owner was pleasant to speak with. Food was superb; the jerk chicken was tender with the right amount of spices with that hint of smokiness that is required. Rice and peas were done to perfection; neither over or undercooked. Taste was spot on. I honestly wished they were closer to home because id be a regular. Or maybe its a good thing theyre not. My back is big enough. 10/10 would recommend.
They catered an event at my step mom’s house. OMFG. I don’t even like ribs at all , but I had to go back for seconds cause HOLY CRAP. And don’t get me started on that jerk sauce !! Def buy some of that sauce to take home !!
