We didn't even get to place the order. Extremely rude attendant, simple environment, stinky bathroom, high priced options in relation to expectations.

This was our fourth time to this restaurant. I think it restaurant checks a lot of boxes as far as atmosphere, service, and preparation/presentation of food. I was disappointed last night. I ordered snapper with lobster sauce and felt the snapper was low quality (another person at the table who also ordered the snapper agreed). The fish was not flaky, but gray throughout. It was covered with way too much sauce. My seafood chowder had the appearance of a red stew(I swear it was beef instead of fish)and I ended up sending it back. I rarely send food back and have never written a negative review, but I was really disappointed. On the upside, the other people dining with us enjoyed their meals very much.

My dad and I ordered the baby back ribs, the food was cold the ribs were dry and rubbery. When I informed the waitress we did not receive not even an apology, nor was the very pricey bill $$$ adjusted. Do not waste your time nor money $$$.

Still amazing! We started going to J&J in the mid 2000s for the best escargot (no longer the menu) and fresh seafood. Now we still try to visit when we are in town. It’s worth the ride from north Palm beach.delicious!

Last night in Delray Beach and my wife and I needed a bit more seafood. Stopped at another place nearby within walking distance, but wasn’t feeling the vibe so we chose J&J based on online reviews and menu options. We enjoyed oysters , a scallop appetizer, and seafood Mac and Cheese, and a tasty Cabernet. Small and local, just how we like it. The experience was excellent from seafood to service. Friendly and welcoming, but not overpowering or in your face.

The salads are delicious! Also, the oysters were very fresh, cold, and juicy! Very nice. Will definitely be there again soon, God willing. The server was on point, too!
