I have been coming to La Bamba locations for years and never had any issues before. However at this location in Delray Beach I had a disturbing encounter with a kitchen employee tonight 10/11/25. I was in the bathroom washing my hands when I saw an employee with a hairnet (so he’s clearly working in the kitchen, unknown name) scooping water into his mouth, then digging his hands into his mouth, proceed to grab a paper towel, wipe off the counter, and left without washing his hands after. Being that I just ordered food, I felt very disgusted and said something to the manager. Not even 5 minutes later this man comes up to my friend and I sat at our table and put his hands on the table and stood over us, telling me he washed his hands. I told him he did not after sticking his hands in his mouth and I felt that was not safe food practice. He continued to ramble on, standing over us, making us both uncomfortable to the point that we canceled our order and had to leave. This man should not be working at this restaurant let alone in a kitchen. You have just lost a valuable, loyal customer.

Love La Bamba! Today was take out, chicken enchiladas and chicken Verde enchiladas. Refried beans and yellow rice. Delicious as usual! Great food, happy employees, nice atmosphere. 👍

This used to be a great place to eat. Now you get inferior food and mediocre service. They want starting at 18% and upwards for a tip. TIP stands for to insurure proper service. I didn't get what I ordered and the server gave me a buch of BS. The snapper now has now shrunk in size and all the prices have gone up. I will never never never never never never never return to the location again. One additional item i will never never never never go there again.

typical mexican style menu meant to please the gringo palate. ordered a couple of rounds of margaritas, then we both ordered a combo plate with a taco, rellenos & wet burrito. served with beans & rice. wish they'd still give you sour cream. the basket of chips the give when you sit down were hot and fresh, gave us 3 salsas to try, the hot was the most flavorful, but not really hot. service is just ok, there but not there. room was really brightly lit, wish it was just a bit more dimmed. good enough to return & recommend PS, i don't know why they call this a mexican & spanish restaurant. NOTHING spanish about it, it's not even related cuisine

My number one choice for Mexican food. Everything is usually on point here, attentive staff and there is always a manager walking around interacting with the guests. Great customer service.
Not enough customer parking. Must use valet. Pleasant atmosphere. Hostess tried to seat my party right next to another table for her own convenience, when there were plenty of other tables and booths available that would offer privacy, at least until there were more restaurant patrons that would dull the conversational noise! Then the hostess seated another party directly behind us, when there were still other seating options offering space. Restaurants should know that this practice is distasteful to patrons that come in to enjoy a meal with friends! The booths were all taken, yet the tables were empty. Hope someone is listening.
Parking: Limited free spots. Valet service after that. Not much choice.
