Am I missing something? We had two chicken pot pies for a dinner party and they were watery and gross. Maybe 3 carrots in the whole pie, very little chicken, and a gelatinous consistency even after being warmed in the oven. Embarrassing to serve to guests. Do not recommend.

This place is a hidden gem, you would miss it when driving by but I'm telling you do not just drive by you MUST stop ! Sara has a treasure trove of fresh delicious salads, I had shrimp salad and my wife had chicken salad ( the best she's ever eaten) her words. After finishing our lunch we decided to purchase dinner, our best idea yet! We agreed on Marianne's Chicken, it was outstanding. Do your self a favor, you gotta try this place it's been around for 30 years and I can't believe I'm just finding it now.

Delicious fresh turkey sandwich! Quality meat, fresh baked turkey, moist, without nitrates!

I am a die hard fan of Mariannes. They're closed for the summer and you can't request sandwiches after 2pm but never will I not jump at the chance to get me a Turkey Club on rye. The staff is great and friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, and it makes me so happy just being inside the tiny store. Forget Joseph's and head to Marianne's

This is a great spot but highly suggest calling to check hours first. They recently started closing Saturday AND Sunday and reduced weekday hours to 3pm during peak season. Used to be a perfect place to get sandwiches on the way to the beach ☹️

Been going here for years (& recommending it to friends and guests); no more. Always a bit cold & terse but the food is/was good. I was excited about getting a sandwich before they close for the summer months. Walked in as they were sitting at the front table playing cards due to no customers, no big deal. No other customers around. However when I cheerfully described the sandwich that I wanted to the woman behind the counter, she literally interrupted me and said “If you’d stop talking, and let me answer your question” rudely, angrily, condescending ?. I should’ve walked out, but I wanted my sandwich as I was very hungry & quite honestly dealing with a serious medical issue. I don’t know what has made this individual such a wretched, rude, individual and I do regret not leaving immediately. I typically would address this with the owner, but I understand staffing is horribly difficult now, and the owner was not there at the time. But this, no, not okay, under any circumstance. I will not return. Do yourself a favor, don’t bother, you can go elsewhere and be treated better and eat well among the wonderful choices in Delray Beach.

It's a hidden gem in Delray the food is always fresh, well prepared and has local community vibe.A lot of selections to choose from and ready prepared meals to go too.

Glad that I finally was able to visit this place. I love gourmet delis as much as the next foodie, but this establishment closes at 4pm. So does Sandwiches by the Sea, but this is different. Although they have excellent lunch offerings - salads, sandwiches, etc., what I think makes them stand apart is their dinner offerings. They have a whole freezer of amazing dinners that you just need to pop in the oven to enjoy. The meatballs are unbelievable and I'm looking forward to trying their chicken pot pie, crab cakes, veggie or meat lasagnas, brie app and all of the others. Mind you, their curry chicken salad is wonderful and the club I had from them for lunch was perfect. But by the time I'm thinking of dinner, they are already closed. HOWEVER, it turns out that in season (Nov. - March), they're open until 5:30, so the later deadline may help me out with my mission to eat more of their evening foods. Looking forward to it! Side note: The only reason for 4/5 stars is the price. I understand that you pay for the amazing quality of ingredients, but I thought maybe since it was off the beaten trail, it may be a little less. But if I get that raise I'm hoping for in the new year, I'll be back way more often!
