We stopped by early in the afternoon, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered the calamari, and for dinner, the charred octopus and seafood linguine. While we waited for our appetizer and dinner, our waitress gave us a complimentary taste of the truffle fries, which were great. Regarding the food we ordered, everything was excellent. The calamari was fresh and slightly battered. The octopus was perfectly grilled, and the bean sauce that came with it were delicious....
Had a great time at Mussel Beach , the clam chowder and lobster roll were delicious. Bartender was very knowledgeable and engaging. One tiny suggestion, butter the rolls for the lobster rolls and they’d be perfect !
Their signature dish is mussels in a pot, served with different sauces, and it's truly delicious. I have to point out that they only accompany it with two small pieces of bread. When we asked for extra bread, they only brought two more, and the bread itself isn’t very good. However, the sauce elevates it because it's so good. I suggest serving excellent bread, and the experience would definitely be unbeatable. Thank you!
