Pizza Rustica Delray

Had lunch on a Tuesday. Parking is free in the back, which is great if you know anything about going anywhere on Atlantic Ave. You choose from an array of various pre-made pizza's which are heated up and served hot. The pizza serving size is approximately a 5"×8" rectangle cut into six pieces. The crust is crunchy on the bottom and light, airy and chewy on top. The topping are flavorful and plentiful. There are an abundance of soft drinks, beer, and wine to choose from. Service was quick and friendly. Would go back and recommend for someone wanting pizza, but not the typical round, thin crust style.

To start with; it's rare to find parking on Atlantic Ave. Pizza Rustica not only had parking, but it is has free parking behind the restaurant; which is very rare for this area. Walking in from the back door, you have the feeling that you have VIP access. You are greeted with a laid back atmosphere and a smile from the staff. The dining area is small but sufficient to chow down on some fresh baked pizza. There are many different types of premade pizza to choose from as well as a wide selection of canned and bottled drinks; such as soft drinks and beer. Everything tastes better when you are so close to the ocean that you can almost hear the waves. Prices vs value/freshness are very spot on. I would recommend this local gem and will be back.

I called and asked for assistance with changing my address for the delivery driver. The man I spoke with lied and said my order had not been picked up yet. I know this wasn’t true because the driver told me he wasn’t at the restaurant yet and the app verified he had not arrived yet as well. After I informed him that it had not been picked up he said it’s not his problem and hung up on me. The order was over $70 and even if it wasn’t there is no excuse to treat anybody, especially a repeat customer with such disrespect. The food was not terrible but far from great and definitely not hot and fresh, based on the lack of assistance from the restaurant employee. So the over all experience has led me to leave a negative review which is not something I have ever done. I will never be ordering from Pizza Rustica again and will anlso advise the people I know about my experience. Being born and raised in this area and being in the restaurant industry 28 years as a respected chef for over 22 years it will be more than a few people that will hear about my terrible guest experience including the hundreds of guests that I speak with on a weekly basis while touching tables as the culinary director of a restaurant group with 6 locations in Delray Boynton and Boca Raton. My advice would be train your staff to treat all customers with respect because you never know who you are speaking with.

Pizza Rustica is my favorite pizzeria in Florida. They have some of the best pizza around. I have visited the one in South Beach and Hollywood, and this time, Delray Beach. Out of all these locations I really liked the one in South Beach the most.

Unreal pizza, best home made hot sauce ever. Also super helpful as my tire had a leak and not from the area and the guy gave us a great suggestion and got us on our way before it was flat. Thank so much

We got the pepperoni, margarita, & rustica. Loved that you could order slices only. The man who took care of us was super friendly and also suggested balsamic as a side. It was a perfect addition to the pizza. I also got an apple soda, suggest by him. Also very refreshing!

Here I am sitting in here on a hot Florida day working on my second slice of hot , fresh pizza. Honestly, I was looking for something light and cool to eat but instead stopped for pizza here because it’s one of the few places that offered indoor seating. I found a gem. Told myself I’d only have one slice but my Supreme was so delicious I had to have a second. Crust is thin, topping are fresh and generous. Cheese is cheesing. I am in foody heaven. Bonus: the cashier is super nice.

I ordered square pizza but received thin round pizza. The pizza is very, very thin. The slices are quite large and are priced fairly. The taste is just average, crust is very hard, nothing great. Delivery was fast and arrived hot.
