This was our first experience eating at Ruven’s. We were a group of eight. I had the chopped steak dinner many of the others had the turkey dinner. All dinners come with a beverage, soup or salad, and dessert. All of our meals were prepared correctly, and delicious. A big shoutout to our server Tara who was extremely patient , pleasant ,and extremely efficient.

Living overseas, deli is not an option. I was taken to Ruven's where I had a fantastic Pastrami sandwich, pickles and slaw. The server was friendly, courteous and always available. Unfortunately they were out of latkes so I may be forced to stay a little longer to try one!

Best Tongue anywhere. Huge menu. Skip the Matzoball soup. Corned beef hash was just OK. Loved the coleslaw & pickles that are brought to the table.

The food here in the past was really good. 2 days ago we had 3 sandwiches and a chicken dinner. The Corned beef, Tongue, and Chicken Dinner was so dry. The broccoli with the dinner was mush and not edible. It was thrown out. The coleslaw which Ruvens usually makes great was spoiled. We all threw that out as well.
I am not writing this to be mean. My family and I really enjoyed dining at Ruvens in the past and I hope the owners read this and perhaps can figure out what has changed with the quality of their food.

Food was good but came out Luke warm at best. Server had to many tables to be effective. No refills, no bread ,poor server. No napkin’s Special dinner was the best deal. Even the front guy was overwhelmed. I added a lot of salt as the food was good but bland. Sunday dinner

I have ordered the brisket 3 times and always been happy. The brisket is tender and flavorful. The service is not the best which is unfortunate. For the first time tonight, I witnessed the manager or owner yell at the wait staff. That was very unprofessional. If he had an issue with the staff he should have taken them in the back and discussed the problem privately. The restaurant is out of date, it needs to be updated. The food is not cheep by any means. For what is being charged the service should be better and the atmosphere could be nicer.
