Our absolute favorite breakfast place! Welcoming to everyone! No pretense, no attitudes, no b_s_. Just a friendly Dow-home diner with hard-working friendly staff and good food. I am hesitant to give Sande’s a good review simply because I don’t want to share this place with anyone else! Oh well… FIVE STARS!

Me and my friend were visiting the area and came here by chance, it was so good we came back again before we left. It was busy but the wait was quick, service was attentive and we got our food really fast. It was delicious, I got the breakfast sandwich both times and we also tried hot cakes, hash browns and biscuit. The atmosphere is really cute ! And shoutout to the servers and bus boys they were all very welcomingVegetarian options: Yes. Usual vegetarian breakfast options, most things can be made without meat.

ok so theres 2 kinds of breakfast spots . good ones and bad ones and then there's a third .... really good ones . sandes falls into the good one category, but high on the good ones list . sandes is one of the few old school joints left where you actuallly get what you ask for ,a no surprises dinner style spot . you order scrambled eggs with rye toast and guess what . your eggs come scrambled and you got rye toast too . they do get extra points though because when you ask for home fries "well done" more often than not when your plate comes , you look down at it and there sits some well done home fries . oh and btw read the signs posted everywhere and you'll understand that they are a cash only establishment and when you go to pay your bill they will expect you to have good old american CASH . yup that's old school right there . American food served by good old school American people.

Took my Mom to Sande's Restaurant for breakfast. First time we have dined there. Placed our order and the food came out fast, however, everything was cold. The bacon, eggs, potatoes, grits and toast all ice cold. Butter didn't even melt on the toast. I understand now why they want cash only. This way you can't dispute your bill for cold food.

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! If you are looking for a mom n pop type place where everyone knows each other, this is the place! Food is excellent, service is phenomenal, and the atmosphere keeps us coming back! You may have a five minute wait but it goes quickly.Kid-friendliness: Provide cute placemats with activities for kids. Much better than any other restaurants we have been too.

Love this restaurant especially because there aren’t a lot of good places around! Service was kind and quick and the food was delicious (especially the creamed chipped beef). Personally I thought there was a lot of butter in my food but that may just be me ?. All around recommend for breakfast/brunch!
