I visit this restaurant everytime I'm visiting South Florida. Sazio has the best Italian food around. Their pasta dishes are to die for. The penne Pollo and the tortellini carbonara are my favorites. The portions are generous and the service is outstanding. If you haven't tried this place on the Ave you must! You're missing out.

A fabulous spot, service is impeccable, salads are out of this world!!! We had a salmon salad fit for a queen! We met 2 of the 3 employees we saw in front, Jessie and Wesley. They iced the cake on our dining experience. The place was pretty crowded on a Mon afternoon and the only other thing we noticed is that those that should be focusing on their customers and orders were back and forth to the window with pizza orders and the register. Jessie was the only server and we did not wait a minute for anything, she was all over the place ensuring the best possible service. She nailed it!! It seemed understaffed which naturally throws a wrench in a well oiled machine.. Perhaps hiring someone for the register and possibly another responsibility and paying them enough so that they want to come to work would help keep it running real smooth. We dine out alot and have watched and talked to local business owners that can't keep people showing up for work. Part of that problem they will admit is that they pay them pennies and don't include all the staff in decision making or at least meetings so they are part of a team. Just my thoughts. Not sure if they apply but thought I would share. It was my observation from experience.

Nice little place. But I'm not sure what's nastier. The food or the staff's attitude. Save your money, Park Tavern/Rocco's are right across the street and will accommodate you where they refuse.

Special find!!… almost walked by. Gourmet home style cooking. Food was fresh and delicious… in-house vinaigrettes and sauces. Very generous portions. Had the skirt steak cooks perfectly and so flavourful. We also had the GF penne pasta with the clams… there were actually more clams than many other places we’ve been and the sauce was amazing. Desert was authentic.
Service was spot on, Amber was attentive (without hovering), friendly and knowledgeable, making you feel welcome and not rushed…a real gem. Thanks Amber!
Ambiance needs to be updated. Very clean!… but needs a refresher paint job and more intimated drop down lighting. Bathroom needs an update.
Overall, great food and friendly service will keep us coming back! No hesitation to recommend to anyone looking for authentic Italian. Next time… the salmon and pizza!

The toppings on the pizza were okay as was the sauce but I am not a fan of the crust. It was crunchy and hard. I've run the gamut of pizzas from very thin to a thick crust, but I just don't like crunchy. Eddie, brussel sprout appetizer was nice with a nice lemony hint. Their other menu items may be very good. I really can't say enough about this restaurant. Wonderful service and the food was Amazing. Ordered FarmHouse pasta. It was cooked to perfection with fresh vegetables and chicken. The wine sauce can't be beat. They brought out homemade Focaccia Bread that was soft and truly delicious with a garlic dipping sauce. Paired with an Orange Creamsicle drink and a seasonal salad. Their seasonal sald includes fresh strawberry, greens and a yummy dressing. Illustrated and made with love. Can't say enough about my excellent experience. There is something for all deserning tastes.

I had lunch yesterday with a friend we sat outside. We split a chicken bacon avocado sandwich, hold the dressings. I asked for more avocado for this 25 dollar sandwhich. After it came a man actually walked over to my table and asked me if 'my problem was fixed' because he 'personally made my sandwich" and 'plenty of avocado was on there' and maybe I 'just didn't see it.' He said this with plenty of rudeness. Then..I ordered coffee. I asked for brown sugar and hot cream. Our waitress was like an aggravated grade school teacher. She cant provide that she tells me. Ok. The coffee arrives. Its tepid, weak light brown water. I tell her its not very good, any way to make it stronger...? She launches into a huffy, frustrated explanation & says she will bring me espresso. She brings another glass of the same coffee. When I expressed discontent, my waitress had a hissy fit and yelled at me. She actually RAISED her voice at me and never came back to our table again. It was ridiculous. I knew not to eat at Sazio, it has a poor reputation. However, my friend wanted a quick bite here. Please Avoid unless your prepared to pay a lot of money for abuse.
