What an awesome experience. I have wanted to take my daughter to this restaurant for a long time and was finally able to do so on her birthday. I have experienced Omakase at many different. locations including Fort Lauderdale, Miami and even in Toronto, but this was the best and most authentic ever. While the outdoor front of the restaurant doesn't make you think that this is a high end restaurant, the minute you step inside and are welcomed by the staff you know you are in for a treat. The service from start to finish was exceptional and worth 5 stars. The Chef was very friendly and explained all the courses in detail to us. Every single course was an experience and I appreciate the fact that some the menu items changes daily because the chefs only serve what is seasonal and freshest. I can highly recommend Taki to those who love Omakase. It is worth a drive and worth every penny.

The balance of textures, freshness of the seafood, and unexpected yet well-executed combinations made each bite memorable. I'd also recommend the Senkin "Modern" sake- it paired well with each course. It's clear the chefs puts real intention behind the menu. Worth every moment and every bite, definitely a spot I'd revisit.

The staff made us feel special and taken care of. The food was fantastic and the presentation was beautiful. My only recommendation is to slow the service down a little bit to allow us to savor everything a little more, but I understand there's a scheduled seating after us. I could have stayed there all night.
