Taso's Greek Taverna & Bar

I’ve visited this restaurant many times and usually had good experiences, but today was disappointing. I went for lunch, and as shown in the picture, the food didn’t meet the usual quality, nor did the customer service. It was my birthday, so I asked if they did anything special, but the staff was completely indifferent—even a small discount wasn’t offered. To make matters worse, my server seemed more focused on chatting with her male colleagues than providing attentive service.
As a small business owner it’s very important to go out of your way to make sure that your clients are being treated well.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience and will not be returning as a customer. I ordered two Greek salads, each priced at $20, but the portion sizes were significantly smaller than expected. I could have easily accommodated the amount of salad in my hand. Adding gyro meat and pita bread increased the cost by an additional $10, but the quality and quantity of meat were disappointing. This experience is not comparable to my previous visit one year ago. Previously, I was an admirer of Taso’s products. However, like many other companies, they have implemented price increases and reduced product quality.

I dined in on the outside of the restaurant and the atmosphere was wonderful so was the gyro I had. It was good. I'd go back again. The food was very good

This place is run by Greeks, that makes it different. It has a nice terrace with lights and a large closed area. The food and presentation is very traditional which I love. They do not sacrifice time to offer a freshly prepared dish, and that is appreciated. The ingredients are fresh, like they have just been cut, it is really worth the wait. We had a Gyro Pita and a Greek salad. All very rich. Very good attention. I recommend going if you like typical Greek food. I have to eat some sweets again.

Vegetarian options: Many options such as humus, spinach plate, cheese and beans.

Parking: It is located in a busy shopping center but there is enough space in the back.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, they have chairs. It is a family place.

Very upset with the food. If appetizers were more or less eatable, the entree absolutely not, “Greek” style potato was horrible, lamb as a little chunks very salty , little pieces of chicken dry as a rubber. Food was simply served on a plate without any decoration. To talk about gyro I am speechless, I’ve never tasted salty, tasteless Greek food like that. Chef did a horrible job, may be he is not a chef. This is not a Greek Tavern, kind of fast food place even worth. Only waitress tried to do her best. Very disappointed 😔

Was upcharged for veggies without being told by waiter. Called manager over and he would not take the $2.00 charge off. Yes, only $2.00. It's not the $...I's the point. So now because of his poor management-customer service skills, they have lost 6 people that we becoming regulars. And we live here all year. Oh well. Many other restaurants in SoFlo.

My ultimate food choice would be Greek so on my bday this is where I wanted to have lunch. Very friendly staff but they need to go back in kitchen and remedy the vegetable cuts in the salads. I would prefer the cucumbers and tomatoes be cut down so it's bite-size and not a huge chunk. Homemade tzatziki was fantastic. It was an okay lunch. The price was good and didn't break my pocketbook.

This was possibly the worst Greek food I've had. My wife ordered the avgolemono soup. It was tasteless. My mousaka was also, dry and without flavor. Service not good as well. Very poor dining experience...

Worse place very bad service, I ordered online they sent me the wrong food, poor customer service, it was a very bad experience

Customer service is good, but the food was lousy I ordered the gyro platter and the meat inside the pita wrap was ice cold I don’t even think the meat was even cooked all the way and the rice that came with it was also not cooked all the way. I will stick to Chris Taverna on Lantana Road in west lake worth.

Everything was great, perfect service and the vibe in the restaurant was very settled and homey. The lamb was perfectly cooked with a delicious marinade. My mahi was a little dry, other than that the salads were ripe and fresh. The homemade dressing was also delightful and tasty. It was my first time here and I am pleased I chose here for lunch. Prices were reasonable and food was out a little longer than expected but worth the wait.

Cute intimate restaurant.
We had to ask for a new glass of water after the first was visibly dirty. We also had to ask for napkins. Food was just ok... The chicken was juicy and of good quality however lacking any sort of flavor , little to no lettuce or fries served with my simple chicken gyro. The fresh squeezed lemonade tastes like minute maid. (I like minute maid so not a major deal..) all in all Miami Subs does a better take - , Drive to lake worths Chris Taverna.
