I enjoy the atmosphere and the excellent food along with cocktails

Very bad waiter with a bad attitude. If the restaurant wants to attract and keep a nice clientele, the staff should follow suit. The wait staff should look clean and neat, and be as accommodating as possible. I also blame management for allowing bad customer service to be tolerated

Owner rude, service poor, food is poor quality. High priced for trash. At least they don't charge for the dead mice that the cats leave by the tables and front door

Over-priced! Easter dinner was a real disappointment. The menu was vey limited and uninteresting. Service was just okay, We arrived (3) of us and were seated immediately. We wanted to take our time and catch up on things while enjoying an overly priced glass or two of wine, which we were doing until someone (I think from the kitchen) came over to our table and told us that they were expecting 21 people!!! In other words, order now, eat and leave. Extremely rude! Had we known there was a time limit we would never have gone there, and as it stands will never go again or recommend this establishment! Too many really good restaurants in this area to waste your time and a lot of money on this place!

Terrible experience with this restaurant. I objected to being charged $30 per person when I tried to cancel a reservation that I had made literally an hour ago. Management texted me that I was clueless. Regardless of their outrageous policy the outright rude texts I received from this restaurant are unbelievable. I recommend you stay away.

This was our return visit since COVID, and while the menu was cut back, the quality was the best. Yes, it is expansive but you get what you pay for. Since they are closing shop in April/May, I suggest you get there before it closes for good. Lily and Phillip will be sorely missed.

I try to avoid giving bad reviews during Covid, but since so many others seem to have had such superior experiences here, I figured it might be worth it to share my "outlier" experience, for whatever value it might be worth to others. Except for the service* which was perfectly lovely, we were disappointed in most other aspects. We had expected a restaurant with "patio" in its name to have a nicer patio, like maybe facing water or a lawn, this was sectioned off the parking lot, and the tables were unattractive (not to mention the ones that were just piled up off to the side). The food was disappointing -- so surprising that a Floridian seafood restaurant had little to no locally caught fish on the menu. And our dishes were one extreme or another -- either too bland, or too salty, or too rich (I know, I know, I sound like Goldilocks). Even the wine list was disappointing (you know we can get Kim Crawford for $12 in Walgreens, right?). All of this I could take with a grain of salt (no pun intended), if the restaurant didn't describe itself with the oxymoronic "casual fine dining." Which one is it? The only thing "fine dining" about this restaurant was the unbelievably high prices, particularly the 5x retail cost for wine and the $35 or $50 corkage fee (it was written both ways in two different spots on the menu) -- regardless, even upscale restaurants in Manhattan don't charge that much for a corkage. I think Patio Delray would attract many more customers if they just picked one -- casual or fine. But if you're going to go with pretentious pricing, you're gonna have to up your food game, go with a classier wine list, and maybe throw a few tablecloths on the tables? I forgive some restaurants for their higher prices during Covid, esp. since they can't fill up indoors, but this is Florida, and unlike most other states, you actually get to stay open four seasons. These prices were HIGH. *actually, the wine glasses were very nice too

First selling point: Not on the Ave. Second: plenty of outdoor seating--like sitting in a garden. Third: chef owner and manager busting her a** to stay open to serve you. Last and most important: great food and service. Shared spicy dumplings that have a thin and delicate wrapper that show the care with which they were made. Chili oil and spices transport your taste buds to a neighborhood Asian restaurant in NYC. Two of my companions had the sea bass, over an Andean succotash that many reviews have raved about. They were right. Two of us had the Garam Masala rubbed tuna quick seared and rare (as I like it). I'm sure you could ask for it medium, but don't. So delicious. The spices form a nice crust, that delicately flavors the tuna--not overpowering. The wine list is fairly priced, but not extensive. I suggest planning your meal, bringing your wine and paying the $35 corkage. Or, just have a couple of expertly prepared cocktails and some glasses of wine like we did. Lily is the Exec Chef, Owner and Bartender. When you are there you feel and see and taste her presence. Thanks for a great evening in these crazy times.

Overall not great, not much ambiance despite the carp in a kids swimming pool and not really near the beach or any action, food was just ok, sea bass didn't have any flavor, and the shrimp we ordered wasn't fresh, also didn't care for escargot. Usually my go to but it was overdone with shrimp and caviar. Drinks were really weak. Overall over priced on mediocre food. Service was fine.
