I don’t normally write reviews, but after what happened at this restaurant, I feel obligated to warn others.
We ordered a $50 bottle of wine. Simple enough. The server brought a bottle to the table, opened it, and poured it. At no point did anyone say it was a different bottle, and we had no reason to assume it wasn’t what we ordered. Everything seemed normal—until the bill came.

Instead of $50, we were charged $120 for the wine.

When we questioned it, expecting a simple correction, the situation somehow got worse. The manager came over and, rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, tried to blame us. We were told it was our fault for “not noticing” that the bottle was different. Somehow we were supposed to catch their mistake after they presented, opened, and served the wine? That’s not how hospitality works.

A reputable restaurant owns its errors. It doesn’t gaslight customers and suggest they’re at fault for trusting the staff to bring what was ordered. The complete lack of accountability was far more offensive than the pricing mistake itself.

If this is how they handle a straightforward ordering error, I can’t imagine how they deal with bigger issues. Between the bait-and-switch feel of the wine situation and the manager’s dismissive attitude, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.

I would strongly recommend dining elsewhere—especially if you plan to order wine. Double-check everything, or better yet, save yourself the frustration and avoid this place altogether.

We have been to many places for Avocado Toast and Eggs Benedict and this may be one of the best.

Tonight we came into this restaurant and had a very disappointing meal.
Our waitress was very polite and did her job happily.
We had bread brought to our table and was ok.
I ordered a pizza with Gorgonzola, Parma ham and rocket and it was very dry and not pleasant.
My husband ordered grilled salmon with lentils, he felt the salmon had been hanging around and not fresh!
The bill arrived and it was $99 dollars, far too much for a below average meal.
I did mention to the waitress that my meal was very dry and she told me she was going to tell the kitchen!

This is by far my husband and I'd favorite Happy Hour! The bar tenders, staff, food, and atmosphere are the best! We love coming here!

Very disappointing experience. We went for happy hour the day after the superbowl. Entire food menu half off- sounded amazing! The bar was caked with last nights partying. The bar tender did the poorest job with trying to clean it for us. Our side plates had red sauce on them, the silverware and all 4 glasses we got were also visibly dirty. The bar tender went to fill our water glasses but the nozzle wasn’t on the gun. He proceeded to accidentally spray my boyfriend with water to which he didn’t A clean up or B offer an apology. He just went to get us a bottled water. The bar tender also was hitting his vape behind the bar- so unacceptable. We ordered one appetizer and got out of there.

I have been to Vic and Angelo's over the last few years. The food has significantly declined. We told the waiter and the manager never came by. The calamari was like rubber. The meatball was so tough we could not get a knife thru it. The pizza was mediocre. Won't be going back

Overall poor food quality . Overcooked salmon and chicken . Poor selection of salad dressings . Out of 6 of us only 1 liked their food . Good service and bread ! A long time Atlantic Ave spot has become mediocre .

Pizza and pasta was fantastic. The open to the outside is nice, but the inside was extremely loud

Food and service were great. There is a singer on Thursday night. He was excellent but way too loud. We changed tables 4 times so we could hear each other.

Laura

Always a great experience. Fun vibe, consistently good pasta/Italian, good value wine list.

Had a chicken parm dinner for $42.00 😯. Also got a pizza that the word bland would be a great description. I understand that they are in a busy spot on Atlantic Ave. and their rent must be ridiculously high. But, that doesn't make up for bland food. Chicken Parm gets an "eh". Other than a large portion of chicken, it wasn't anything spectacular.

Daniel may very well be the best waiter I've ever had. He was fun, attentive, helpful, and took great care of us. Food was delicious and fast, despite the restaurant being busy. A great dinner, even for the gluten free diners in our party.
