Excellent Thin Crust Authentic Chicago Pizza Each bite delectable and delicious, a sweeter sauce with a mild bite, perfect crisp tasty pepperoni and mouth watering Italian sausage. The crust is perfect and cracker thin with just the right firmness and flavor!

Wow If you’re craving authentic Chicago-style pizza in Delray Beach, look no further than Windy City Pizza on Atlantic Avenue. Tucked between I-95 and all the bustle of downtown, this little spot is a gem. Parking is easy, seating is cozy (about 6–10 tables inside and out), and while they don’t take reservations, it’s worth the wait.
First things first—the garlic rolls are absolutely off the charts. They’re served complimentary, fresh, and packed with flavor. Next up, the wings. These aren’t just good; they won Best Wings in Florida—and once you try them, you’ll see why. Crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, they’re a must-order.
But the real reason to come here is the Chicago-style pizza. They serve both classic deep dish and thin-and-crispy, just like back in the Windy City. The deep dish is a beast (they told us it weighs 10–12 pounds!)—definitely a challenge if you think you can handle more than one slice. We went with the thin crust Chicago-style sausage with green peppers, and it was perfection. The sausage had great flavor, the balance of cheese and sauce was spot on, and best of all, the crust was crisp all the way through—not soggy in the middle like you sometimes find.
The atmosphere is fun and nostalgic, decorated with Chicago memorabilia that makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to the Midwest. The staff is friendly, the service is attentive, and they’ve got beer and wine to go with your meal.
Whether you’re a Chicagoan at heart or just love great pizza, Windy City Pizza is a must-try in Delray. You won’t be disappointed.
For a local thin crust it’s hard to beat Windy City, and their prices aren’t outrageous either.
Our go to is their mini meatball pie, and the regular bone in wings are great too (not the SexyWings though, they are a bit too sweet and definitely not a traditional flavor).
Last of all, try the fries, they are deep battered and really crispy and wonderful!

Great hole in the wall pizza joint. Best thin crust tavern style pizza in South Florida. So much better than Ney York style crust, Yea I went there. That's not saying NY Style is bad, I've had good NY Style, just this type of thin crust is a home town favorite.
