I incorrectly posted a comment on the wrong bagel place, this was a place in Florida I visited recently and not a place in Sacramento. Bagel King has excellent bagels and great service. Sorry for the confusion. Everytime I go to Florida they are my go to place.

The turkey club was excellent and I would def order again. I will skip the pastries going forward as the chocolate chip cookie was hard as a rock, and tasted more like a sugar cookie with chocolate chips. The black and white cookie was dense and not fluffy, and had a very strong lemon flavor. Also, it took 20 minutes from the time we ordered to the time we received our food so it'd be better to order ahead.

I'm a native of Washington DC area. I have been looking for a legit bagel shop that sells delicious, fresh bagels anywhere in the Orlando area . Unfortunately, I ordered a dozen bagels here. I was really disappointed in the quality of bagels at Bagel King. The bagels are very thin and stale. I also purchased a pastry. STALE!! Bagel King, do better. I was extremely disappointed since this shop specializes in bagels. Also, the lady at the register couldn't hear very well, and was clearly getting agitated during the ordering process. I spent @ $50 on stale food. Buyer beware!!
My family has frequented Bagel King for years. The staff is friendly, supportive, and kind. They treat their customers like family. I was recently married and used Bagel King to cater our rehearsal brunch - Fran showed up early with a delicious spread! Megan was a great help navigating the catering menu to help us figure out how much food we needed. This is a great local business that supports the community. We would use them again for catering & certainly for a great bagel!

Moved down here from Indiana over a year ago. Overall our belief is that Floridians have low expectations for food / restaurants. Almost everywhere we go that is “4.5 stars” and above,, is pretty meh. But Bagel King is a diamond in the rough. I bought an eveything bagel with chive cream cheese and the cinnamon roll looked really good so got one of those too. The bagel had the seasoning on both sides, and it was very fresh and the chives were as if they’d been cut that morning. The cinnamon roll was very good also. If you really know what a good bagel is,,, this is the place to go.
I've only been here a few times and my past experiences were good. However, today I ordered half a dozen bagels at $8.40 and a $6.99 sausage, egg cheese breakfast sandwich and was charged 6% extra for using a credit card and was not informed of such. Also the egg was so overcooked, rubbery, and green inside had to through the egg out entirely.

I had known about this place first hand from a fellow employee that always brought bagels to the job. Eight years later, I actually visited this place and bought bagels. The smell when you entered was off the chain. I also bought some lox cream cheese as well. CARLA was wonderful. I got back to my truck and my wife, dog and I dug into the bulging bagel bag . A shmere of lox cream was loaded onto a garlic bagel and we dug in. Lots of yum sounds were murmured as we all chewed the magnificent meal. You can bet you're bottom bagel buck that we will be returning. 😁
