“Bakers Like Birthday Cake Too! I had the stressful task of getting a birthday cake for my good friend, who is also a baker—because, let’s face it, bakers deserve a special cake too, and she shouldn't have to bake her own birthday cake again this year! Luckily, Ms. Victoria from Simply Homemade 1913 in downtown Sanford came through and delivered an absolutely gorgeous cake with a quick turnaround. We went with a lemon cake, and it was not only stunning but also delicious. The flavors were perfect, and the cake was both light and filling. The design was simple yet elegant, with personal touches that made it feel extra special. You can really tell it was made with love. I’m so glad I chose Simply Homemade 1913 to make this memorable cake—my friend loved it, and I’ll definitely be returning for future celebrations!“

“The cookies are wonderful and everyone is always polite. I just wish they had the small cookies more than just Mondays. There's not much to the store or the atmosphere other than walking up to the counter. There's no seating for waiting or decorations, but it is extremely clean and neat.
Parking: There are a few spots for curbside assistance, but usually they are so busy inside. It's easier just to go get them yourself rather than wait, but most of the time, they are ready.“

“this store is very useable. there are very rarely times where there are gaps on the shelf from products not in stock unlike the supercenters in north deland and orange city. while not having the selection of items of the supercenters, they do have a very nice selection of the important items. the parking lot can be crowded even on off days, but the experience is much better usually being quick in and out.“
“AMAZING! Best DF/GF baker in central FL by far! Ordered a gf/df banana cake with cream cheese (almond) and it was absolutely delicious! Nobody could believe it was gf/df. I found Yolove at a farmers market a few years ago and have been a customer ever since. Highly highly highly recommend!“

“Really good food and service. Lots to choose from. My only gripe is if you pay with a credit card (like most of us do) they punish you and pass their fees on to the customer (as indicated on the receipt). This left a bad taste in my mouth. Most businesses will reward you with a discount for paying cash—-not punish you if you don’t. People may not tell the business they don’t like it, but instead tip the server less, not return, etc. I don’t find passing credit card fees on to customers good practice. Parva should find out how many restaurants in Deland charge this and they will find that it is rare and perhaps they are the only ones. I still recommend them for the food, cleanliness, and service… but be prepared to see the extra charge which you won’t like. Maybe it is standard practice in Colombia but definitely not here“

“Today is 7/26/22 I wanted some good donuts so I stopped in this morning and got some donuts and apple fritters and glazed twist when I saw that show case and my eyes almost came outta the socket when I saw all the different variety of donuts.they had my favorite coconut and toasted coconut let me say your donuts are absolutely delish I will be back keep making those coconut donuts“
