Went on a Sunday morning hoping to eat with a party of 16. They were able to accommodate us and did a great job. They have a bar attached and sat us there, which was clean and decorated for Halloween which we enjoyed. The bathrooms were clean and had the best hand dryer I’ve ever used (dries your hands in literal seconds). The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the French toast combo (French toast, bacon, hash browns, and eggs) and all of it was delicious. Husband had the steak and eggs which he thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone devoured their food. Our server, Nina, very efficiently handled getting our drinks and food out in a timely and friendly manner. You could tell she’s a pro and we appreciated her great service.

Waited for 45 minutes to be sat down. Kept checking in with the hostess. The hostess sat over 20 different people, 3 or 4 seperate groups that just walked in, and in the mean time, they just keep telling us there's no seating for a group our size, even though they just sat 3 different groups that walked in with equal our more people.
Thanks for making us wait 45 minutes while you let everyone else cut in line.

We used to go to this restaurant for many years for breakfast and loved it. The last 4-5 times we went the service was horrible and virtually nonexistent. It was in the bar side so we could watch sports. We had to ask repeatedly to be waited on, the food was never prepared correctly or in some cases what we ordered, you would have to scavenge to get utensils and condiments.
We went today and sat on the restaurant side. We waited for quite a while for the waitress to come back. She kept saying she’d be right with us, but we waited and waited. She did finally come back and we placed our order. I always ask for my hashbrowns to be extra crispy. When the food arrived, they were barely cooked at all, and I ordered scrambled eggs because I had trouble with their fried eggs being undercooked in the past. They were extremely crunchy, dry and hard.
Wow, we used to recommend this place. I won’t be going back again. I’ve given them too many tries in the past six months and it just gets worse.

My parents live just down the street from The Cocky Rooster Café & I can’t say enough great things about it. It’s become my go-to breakfast and lunch spot. Established in 2012, this cozy café is a neighborhood favorite known for its warm hospitality and chef-driven menu! The place has adorable rooster decor, plenty of seating booths, tables, wheelchair-accessible & a cozy bar area you can sit in while enjoying your meal or a drink. They’re connected to a bar next door, that opens later in the evenings, & even host fun events like karaoke, pool, motorcycle nights & bingo nights on weekends. The food is amazing and they have an awesome selection between breakfast and lunch dishes! The staff is always so friendly! If you’re in Deltona looking for a charming, friendly cafe with creative food, sweet staff, and a warm vibe, do yourself a favor and visit the cocky rooster you won’t regret it!
